Meeting place - The tour was great. For us it was a perfect amount of time. Our guide pointed out the highlights in both galleries. Only problem was we hard some trouble finding the meeting place. We had the address but google maps became confused at the Uffizi. We asked a tour guide from another company who told us that the street was behind the Uffizi then it was easy to find. This would be helpful information to put in with the meeting place location.

Great experience - So glad we had skip the line tickets and a tour guide to see these two museums! We would not have been able to see much otherwise. Our guide Mirella was awesome and was able to give us all the background history about the paintings and statues we saw.

Art Historian tour of Uffizzi and David - This was a wonderful tour. Our guide, Anna, was able to show us the highlights of the Ufizzi and take us to see Michaelangelo's David. She was knowledgeable and able to maneuver us through the crowds at the Uffizi. Her insights into the paintings and sculptures was top notch.

Uffizi and Academia Tour - The Uffizi and Academia tour was as advertised. Maria Christina was a wonderful guide highlighting all the must see pieces of art. She did a good job of explaining the history and little unknown facts about the paintings and sculptures we viewed.

Best Decision EVER! - The small-group guided tour to both Uffizi and Academia was the best decision ever! And not just because we were able to skip the long entry lines. Our superb guide (Mirella B) selected the works of art (from the thousands possible) that best illustrated the different periods and artists. She explained the progression in painting from the Medieval period to the Renaissance in easy to understand terms that made our visit much more meaningful. She also shared stories about the artists that brought them to life and made our visit even more memorable.

Mixed feelings but still recommend - I have a mixed review about this tour because basically I was sent in two separators one of the gallery and one of Academia The tour of the gallery was with an artist Orian which unfortunately I don’t remember her name and while we had to wait in Line for about 20 minutes which meant we had last time in the gallery she did the very good job of reviewing in an hour and 45 minutes most of the major works That are presented in the gallery in a very knowledgeable and interesting way as well as connecting it to the history of the city Then I had to go back to the office to wait for the tour guide that was finishing another tour to take us to the gallery In this case, this was an Anglo tour guide clearly not local that did not leave a strong impression on me Well, she tried to manage a group of senior Participants walking 15 minutes to the gallery then waiting in line for a good half an hour just to get to see David pretty exhausted. I didn’t think she did an outstanding job.

Better late than never - The best thing about this experience was of course the incredible art and the history. Both the guides were very knowledgeable and helped make things understandable and interesting. The only problem was both tours started significantly later than scheduled.

Dissatisfied - The first tour of the Uffizi was great guide very good. The second tour with Pam was very poor, she left 6 of us behind in the crowded streets, she walked very fast we finally found our way there around 2:20, so the other members of the group had to wait outside in the sun for probably more then 1/2 hour. She apologized but said she had to watch the rest of the group, perhaps 19 people too many in one group. One couple left when they found the group, we left after seeing David. Very disappointed. I feel a partial refund is required
