With limited time in Florence, avoid the crowds and take a 2.5-hour walking tour through the Uffizi Gallery with priority entrance. See masterpieces from Michelangelo, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, and more, as your guide provides in-depth commentary on each work that you pass. This group tour is limited to 15 people for a no-hassle way to see one of the world’s most famous art museums.
- Even with the skip-the-line entrance, there is still a compulsory security check which may cause some delays in entering the museum.
- Big umbrellas must be left inside a cloakroom on entering Uffizi Gallery. When the tour finishes customers have to make their own way back to Uffizi Gallery to collect their umbrellas. The cloakroom is open until 6:40pm. To reduce any disruption for your group, we recommend that big umbrellas are not taken on this tour. Small umbrellas are still allowed at Uffizi Gallery
- Please note: the Vasari Corridor is closed to visits to all groups until further notice. Therefore the corridor is not visited during this tour as it is currently not accessible.
- Please be informed that this tour won’t be available on every first Sunday of each month
- Please be advised that starting from March 2025 the NEW meeting point will be: TOWNS OF ITALY KIOSK | FLORENCE meet your tour leader in front of the Towns of Italy Kiosk, in Piazza della Repubblica, under the arches on the left facing the Apple Store

Wonderful - We went with our guide, Sarah, who was formally trained and so enthusiastic and kind that she made the time melt away. She brought us all deeper into the experience of this amazing collection. This was a wonderful way to experience what could be an overwhelming museum otherwise. With the help of our guide we felt as though we were able to enjoy and appreciate the building and the art collection it houses. This also helped us to gain a better understanding of not only the museum and the art specifically, but also Florence, the Medici, and the Renaissance more broadly.
Highly recommend if you plan to visit the Uffizi (and if you are in Florence…you want to go to the Uffizi!)

This was such a great... - This was such a great experience! Our guide Sarah really knew so much about the paintings and the history. She helped us understand not just the art but the history and culture of the people who made it. This was the most fun I've ever had in an art museum. Highly recommend!

An Outstanding Tour! - We had an absolutely fantastic tour with Andrea! She was so knowledgeable and shared such interesting information about both the history of Florence and its art, weaving the two together to really help you understand the Renaissance period. Her comparison of the practices and techniques used to what we do in contemporary times really helped our understanding. Her enthusiasm was contagious. The tour showed us so much more than we could have ever discovered on our own. This experience is highly recommended!!

Highly Recommend. You Will Appreciate The Tour and Experience! - Excellent tour with Sabilla. We would highly recommend this tour to get the most out of the Uffizi. The tour was well-paced, easy to understand yet comprehensive enough to walk through artistic development through the Renaissance to obtain a deep appreciation of the artwork in the collection. Without Sabilla's tour and description, we would have just wandered from room to room and lost so much of the context and nuance. With this tour, we took away a much deeper appreciation of the Uffizi and will have great memories of the tour and our vacation.

Excellent tour, well paced, good price for what you get - Had a great experience on this tour. The Florencetown office wasn't difficult to find, and the guide knew what she was doing. There was still some waiting to get into the Uffizi but there always is, and given the crowds I don't think we could've gone any faster. Felt as organised as it was possible to be.
The content of the tour itself was also really good - very informative, but also entertaining and fascinating. We had little radios so we could hear our guide properly even in the crowded rooms, and she offered a really good mix of artistic knowledge about the art itself, with historical, social and even political contexts for the paintings and painters. (Personally I loved the snippets about the historical contexts and lives of artists, especially the scandals!)
The tour was basically chronological, starting from the religious paintings of the 13th and 14th century, ending with Caravaggio and the 1600s. I thought it was really well structured, with good pacing and time to absorb the art. Didn't feel rushed.
Make sure you're ready to stand & walk for 3 hours. Good shoes and a light bag are a must!
