Additional Information
Accademia is a compact museum with a maximum capacity of 600 visitors. Due to this, during the peak season, the waiting time can extend from 3 to 5 hours, making tickets hard to come by. Don’t squander your precious time in long queues!

Please note that the price does not cover the cost of tickets. I will procure the tickets for you in advance and you’ll pay me upon your arrival in Florence, prior to the commencement of the tour. Each ticket is priced at 17 euros, and I can only accept payments in cash. Thank you!

Worth the time - We had a great tour and it was well explained. Learned things I would not have on my own. Had time to explore on our own after tour.

Great concise visit to the David with Claudio - Very well organized tour with Claudio. The skip the line process was simple. Your guide was thorough and very passionate about David and the other sculptures. The format was great for a family with a couple of teenagers - just enough to get a sense of what we were seeing but not too long to lose their interest. Free time is given after the tour so you can go back and spend more time at whatever you want to see. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent guided tour - Really good. Great to not have to wait in the queue in baking heat and our guide was excellent - pitched just right, got a lot out of the tour, much more than we would have got if just attending ourselves.

Stunning and Unforgettable visit - The tour guide was very sweet and explained every part of the museum in great detail! She knew the information and provided us the best experience. Our favorite part was seeing the sculpture of David and the explanations that came along with it!

SKIP THIS PARTICULAR TOUR, BUT DEFINITELY GO TO MUSEUM! - You can skip this one!! Tour, I mean. Definitely go to the Accademia and see David, yes it’s worth the hype and the line to see this giant masterpiece. But if you do this tour you will be overpaying substantially to NOT skip a line (you will still be waiting in a line, a bit shorter one but still a line), and your tour guide will rush you at their pace past so many works. She skipped an entire room at the end and “invited us to stay longer to see it”. If you are planning your trip ahead of time definitely buy some tickets (check out the firenzepass if you’re in town a few days) to this museum, but skip this “skip this” tour! I was too last minute in my planning and these were the only tickets available. So, it did get me in to the gallery so for this reason I gave 3 stars, not 2.
PS- Elvis never entered the building, btw…

Awful - Don’t do this tour, they buy up all the cheap tickets and cash charge you at door. Waste of money for a small museum. You also wait in line regardless of title description.

Not worth the money - Not worth the money. Guide was nice but seemed inexperienced. I don’t think it was “Elvis” that usually does the tour. Maybe he was off that day.
