Best way to see 3 towns! - Genevra (Genie) and driver Carmine gave us an amazing tour of Tuscany! Incredible for us to see 3 beautiful towns (Siena, San Gimignano, and Pisa) all in one day, plus an incredible lunch in the Tuscan hills with practically all you could drink local wine! It is an expensive tour, but I would say if you have an extra day in Florence, DEFINITELY book this tour. Obviously some things were rushed, it is just so much to pack into one day, but still worth it. I was so sad to leave San Gimignano after only an hour, it is such a beautiful town, but we understood its the only way to pack everything in. Our tour guide in Siena (Claudia? Sorry might not remember properly) was very knowledgeable and professional. Great to hear from an actual local. Genevra toured us around everywhere else. She was amazing! Gave so many extra tips, gave some incredible history lessons and explanations of all the places while on the bus. Spoke great English. Then she let us have some valuable free time in each town as well. Highly recommend the tour!

Worth every penny! - Our guide and driver were amazing! My girlfriend and I had a great time. Our guide Claudia was very sweet and informative! She led us the entire way and made the experience super fun! Our driver Emilio was excellent and honestly I’ve never seen someone drive a bus through small roads with turns that well. The bus was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Winery and history make for a great time. - Mirella was simply a great guide. Knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic and funny. We had an awesome time learning about Siena, San Gigimano and Pisa. The winery is precious. Family owned and operated with amazing wine. Get some Chestnut honey and Saffron.

Totally worth it! - We’re so glad we did this tour! We have 2 boys age 12 and 13 and weren’t sure if they’d get bored on this long day trip, but not at all! Our guide, Mirella, was awesome, and a sweetheart! She was so knowledgeable about Tuscany and passionate about her job. She’d tell us about our next stop during the bus rides, always keeping it interesting. We appreciated that so we could optimize our free time once we arrived. We liked having the freedom to decide what we wanted to do at our stops. For us, this typically included climbing a tall medieval tower for spectacular views, eating gelato, and souvenir shopping :) Only Siena had a guide through the city, and although the tour was interesting, our boys would have preferred to explore on our own the whole time instead of only for part of it. But afterwards we realized we could have left the tour and met back at the meeting point at the designated time, so you have the option. I can’t think of a better way to see so much of Tuscany in a day. I highly recommend lunch at the winery, too. The food was delicious- even our picky 12 year old liked it- and like true Italians they didn’t let you leave hungry or thirsty! The scenery was breathtaking. We only wish we had more time in each place because they were amazing, but we’ll have to go back… We took a few different tours during our vacation, and thought this one was a great value. Thank you so much for the experience!!

Full of adventure in one day it was a fabulous experience - Tuscany winery with pasta lunch was very good and the owners made sure they asked if you wanted more once you finished the lunch. Plan for PIsa - For most of the day this tour was great. It was only on the final approach to Pisa that our tour guide mentioned that only some of us on the bus had tickets to climb the tower in Pisa. She said the rest of us could buy some when we got there. However when we got there and went into the ticket office the only tickets we could get were for a timeslot an hour after we were set to get back on the bus and leave. If the tour guide had told us this information in the morning when we left Florence (approx. 8am) then I could have ordered tickets online 10 hours before we got to Pisa. Instead she told us this too late for it to be useful. This didn't ruin the entire day or anything but at the same time it's kind of inexcusable for a professional tour. The tour guide information on the bus started off strong on the drive out of Florence but then we really didn't get anything the rest of the day from her. We got passed off to a local tour guide in Siena but the little transistors they give you to wear were inadequate and everyone had trouble hearing what the local guide was telling us.
