Highlights
- Morris Island Lighthouse - We will depart from the Folly River Boat Landing and enjoy a leisurely 30-45 minute cruise through the salt marshes of one of Charleston’s most scenic rivers. You will see a wide array of local wildlife including the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin and numerous species of beautiful estuary birds. Upon arrival to Morris Island, an uninhabited barrier island, you will have a breathtaking view of the famous Morris Island Lighthouse. Here, you will have the opportunity to take a 30-45 minute leisurely stroll on the beach to search for sea shells and sharks teeth, take photos, and soak up the natural beauty of this unique setting. After exploring Morris Island, we will make our way back to the landing via Lighthouse House Inlet and The Folly River.

Additional Information
Our tour is perfect for families, friends, couples, or a solo adventure. We are also pet friendly! The water way is calm with land close in sight, so you won’t need to worry about getting sea sick or wet. This tour is relaxing and intimate with small groups. Group sizes are limited to keep a personal experience. Our captains are experienced, knowledgeable, fun, safe, and accommodating! You are welcome to bring whatever you’d like to eat or drink (BYOB). We will provide waters and a cooler with ice and plenty of room for your beverages. There are no restrooms on the boat. Let us know if you have any questions.

Please be sure to park in a car parking spot rather than a truck and trailer parking spot. If there are no car spots available, exit the parking lot to the right and park on or around Center Street. Come on down to the boat landing and I’ll be waiting. There is no restroom at meeting point.

Great Afternoon - Very relaxing fun filled afternoon. Saw dolphins, a small shark and other wildlife. Loved exploring Morris Island.

Sun, dolphins, history, beach combing and laughs. - Jody was a great captain-knowledgeable, humorous and really tried to put guests at ease. The experience was super enjoyable-great laughs, a little history and dolphins! Highly recommend!

I love dolphins! - It’s probably hard to have a bad day out on a boat around Folly Beach. Captain Ducworth took us on a beautiful ride and kept us entertained along the way. We saw dolphins up close and the Morris Island Lighthouse. I really enjoyed getting out and wandering on the island for a bit too. A beautiful evening and a gorgeous sunset!
