Clear Kayak Tour - Mikey was a great tour guide! He picked us up on time from the port, transportation was very spacious & accommodating. He is very knowledgeable of the islands history & gave us a history lesson on the go, which made the ride go nice & smooth. Our photo shoot happened on a nice clear beach just like the photos. Mikey made you feel comfortable during the shoot & showed you the pics to see if you liked how they came out. Restaurant on the beach was great with $5 drinks. I would recommend the red snapper. Overall, 10/10 would recommend. We have made a Bahamian friend for life.

Worst Experience and No Business Etiquette - By far the worst experience on my birthday trip. I’ve been wanting to do this for ever and upon booking I was excited. First when I spoke to Mikey he said that the tour would be 2 hours and then we would meet at the beach around 12 for my shoot. My 2 friends who were with me paid $40 per person to get access to the private beach that we were supposed to shoot and have access to. When I asked how long for my photos he said 3 days. How is it 3 days when it’s a drone and electronically. Everyone isn’t staying that long to ensure their photos are received. Second, the driver that Mikey sent, the car’s air conditioner wasn’t working. The vehicle stalled 2-3 times. Then I learned that he doesn’t work for Mike who is doing the drone, he’s a subcontractor. When the vehicle stalled the driver called his boss who said put your foot over the gas and Hoover and roll the windows down. In this heat. Never got a new car or driver for the 2-3 hours of the tour. So the driver tells us we are meeting them for the photo shoot at 12 then it was 1230 when we arrived at Taino beach. The driver said Mikey called his boss and said he would be there in 30 min. So we had to stay outside because the van had no AC. It’s like 110 and Mikey isn’t here. I tried calling the number who called and texted me and it kept going to o voicemail. It was no longer ringing. I called my travel agent and she began speaking to Cassandra Moss and then it was 20 min on top of the 30 min. By then I was fed up! It wasn’t until I called the back and my agent called or emailed Viator did the time get pushed up and they had the audacity to ask if I would wait an extra 12 minutes. Their customer services is atrocious and only responded when we contacted viator and my bank. So I didn’t even get to do my shoot which was $150 but my friends paid $80 in total to have access to a private beach which never happened I wouldn’t refer this company to my enemies or the dead. Mikey and his land sand sea tours are an embrassment to the Bahamian culture and th black culture. He’s a straight vulture with no business etiquette and no one should ever do business with him. No I see why he has low scores and no comments on his Tiktok

False Advertising & Not the photos you see - I’ll start by saying that everything described here is not what you pay for. So I would think twice before spending your hard earned money on this with any high expectations. Although the tour guide was pretty friendly, this shouldn’t be a one person guided tour, and I believe he bit off more than he could chew. The vehicle either fits the people or the kayak, not both, so I believe he had too many people to one tour guide. It was a rushed half a$$ experience because of that alone. A few groups including my party, were forced to find taxi transport back to the port where ships were docked because there was no way to get in contact with the tour guide and he would leave one group and go move the other group along and do a lot of back-and-forth with no proper communication. There is no clear start to finish to this tour that makes sense. The photos that are being advertised are not what you will receive. It took for me to have to contact the booking company with a complaint, for them to get in touch with the tour company for me to FINALLY receive a photo, in which has no blue waters as promised and advertised. It looks as though I am on concrete or just in direct sand. All the while the photographer was saying that there will be edits to get those blue tropical waters, none were delivered. I’m most disappointed in the poor communication and false promises. We were told we would get reimbursed for transport, that also didn’t happen. No refreshments were given either. Please be advised that the beach isn’t as comfortable as it is advertised, there is no seating. There’s only one restaurant that’s overcrowded and it’s not a good area to actually enjoy. I was told because it’s a free beach, but I’ve been to dozens of free beaches with a better experience. I’ve been a TripAdvisor customer for years. This was my worst experience, I didn’t receive anything that I paid for. I’ll have to plan JA in the near future to get my clear kayak experience.
