Glorious Rottnest! - Been diving Blue Destiny many years and love it. I don't have a business relationship beyond being a regular customer and know these guys by having been a long time customer originally and like the team. I had a great day although the first dive wasn't the greatest as buddies worked out buoyancy and air consumption but that's diving for you (nothing to do with crew) 2nd dive was awesome once one of the buddies who was travelling had worked out his weights (often happens which is why its best when travelling to do a few dive days). Second dive we dived one of my favourite sites at Rottnest - Crystal Palace it really shows some of the best of Rottnest in one dive. Vis was awesome (actually better on dive 1 but still awesome dive 2). Reef was full of schools of little fish called "pomfreds" (i love swimming with schools of fish swirling about), 2 giant caverns each with lots of holes in the roof so you could see much of the caves safely without being in an overhead environment as you could still vertically egress. Colourful sponges, corals, critters, fish. This was what diving Rotto is about and water warm too 23C I was toastie. Crew was helpful as can be, as always. I realised I made a gaff and my wetsuit boots had dropped out of my bag in my car (my fault) crew said "no worries' loaned me a pair! Food is varied there's a wide choice so I always find something to eat e.g. I love the crusty bread rolls with Roast beef (which are always on) there is also potato bake, nice salads and good penne and vegan options. There's hot showers right at the back deck to flush your wetsuit with hot water on exit, unlimited tea and a big jar of jellies and biscuits, (which unusually today's divers didn't manage to finish!), 3 large heads (toilets) to change in. The boat is crazy good in bad weather and there's a large sun deck for nice days with large cabin for bad weather. She runs at 20 knots very smoothly gets across the rough open water quick and into the shelter of the island even on horrible days (its not always sun) Blue Destiny can dive on days most private boats can't yet despite the size she can still get in close as a Cat with 2 engines she's highly manoeuvrable. I regularly dive with Blue Destiny (especially on days my little boat can't manage) and another competitor both operations I like a lot and I recommend both to friends as this is a review for BD I highly recommend them AND Perth Scuba. One other thing I really value - I usually bring my own tanks (you bring a tank and get a 2nd boat one) but at present their freo operation fills your tank if you've been on BD (show them your receipt) which really makes things easy for me since I can refill my tanks ready for shore dive and not have to wait till next day off to go and get a fill. I got some nice (I think) photos on the 2nd dive some of my favourites are below. Can find more photos and videos of this and other trips on fb/u tube "Aquatic Australia".

Great Experience! - Had an amazing day diving at Rotto. Everyone including staff and other passengers were all so kind which just made it a great atmosphere. Food was delicious with nothing to complain about regarding the options available. The diving was great with a good thorough safety brief and dive plan before we got into the water. Was well worth the money! Will be diving with them again in the future.

Great dives. - I have been on this day tour several times and it is always a pleasure. The staff is friendly, helpfull and above all profesional. On top of that there's always a great atmosphere on the boat. Lots of laughs and sharing of dive stories. On the way to the dive sites we have previously spottet humback whales (not a rare occurence depneding on the time of year). This time (march) however, we were joined by dolphins playing in the waves and a turtle. The dive sites have beautiful corals and schools of fish of varying sizes. Also, it is not rare to spot sting rays.

Blue Destiny magic - Another great day diving on the Blue Destiny. As always Craig and the amazing crew went above and beyond to make it an amazing day. That are my go to dive company every chance I get. Also a big shout out to the crew at Perth Scuba who work tirelessly organising the bookings and making sure you are all geared up to make the most out of your experience on Blue Destiny.

A great day out on the waters around Rottnest! - Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food served on the day. Boat was spacious and well equipped. Safety briefing could be a little slower and clearer, but I didn't feel unsafe at any time.

SMBs - I really enjoyed the diving but not the bit we spent searching for the two divers that floated off into the distance without SMBs. The slipper was very worried. Please make sure every diver has a SMB on them before entering the water. The other dive boats in Perth do. In other states of Australia it is law.
