Awesome trip with stops at four cities starting with Fatima. - Our tour started with a pickup at our Lisbon apartment. Our guide, Anna, was extremely friendly and asked us what we wanted to do for our tour that day so that she could tailor the experience to what we wanted to get out of if for the day. Our first stop was Fatima, Anna explained the history of the site and the various stories behind all buildings and the devotions we were seeing first hand. You felt a sense of peace in the original chapel. Next we went to Batalha, home to one of the largest gothic monasteries and churches. Absolutely beautiful architecture. Then on to Nazare, home of the largest waves in the world. What a view overlooking the ocean. She booked a reservation at a local seafood restaurant, everything was so fresh. Definitely check out the lobster and octopus rolls! Our final stop was to Obidos, a town within castle walls. It was there where we had our shot of Ginjinha in a chocolate shot glass. It was much better than the one we had on a food and wine tour in Lisbon. Anna was a delight to spend the day with and we appreciated all of her insights during each of our stops. Fabulous day trip - The full day trip to the four cites/sites was terrific, thanks to the extraordinary knowledge, courtesy and professionalism of our experienced guide, Sonia. My wife and I were picked up at our hotel and driven in a comfortable mini van to Fatima, Batalha, Nazare’ and Obidos. Visiting Fatima was fulfilling a childhood dream and the background provided by Sonia was key to our full enjoyment. Obidos was a neat walled city, not to be missed; and Nazare’, home to the tallest waves in the world, was beautiful. The church at Batalha is a marvel. We had a delicious lunch in a casual restaurant in Nazare’ where Sonia knew the owners personally. We were seated quickly! In sum, this is a well-planned tour that Sonia handled with skill and a deep knowledge of history. I recommend you ask for her at IGO Portugal as your tour guide.

Spirit and awe! - Fatima, Nazare and Obidos all had their charm, with Fatima and Nazare the standouts. Anna did a wonderful job of getting us involved in each site. Our only complaint was the car was too small for a group of 4 plus guide/driver. I had specifically asked about a van and was told we would have one......but it was a much smaller car.

Pedro M. was an amazing... - Pedro M. was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about Portugal’s history which made us enjoy and appreciate our experience. Definitely recommend him!

Best tour and guide ever ! - Our driver , Pedro was very knowledgeable about Portuguese history and was very informative throughout the day. Fatima was the highlight but every stop on the journey was wonderful !

Great tour company - What a wonderful experience! Sonia and Ana were amazing guides. They made us feel like family and we know we have 2 new friends. I highly recommend this company for any tour in Portugal. We will definitely use them next time we visit.

The best tour of Portugal! - Our hotel recommended this tour. I am always cautious of recommendations from businesses that I do not know well, but this tour was the most memorable part of our trip. We did a private tour with Miguel and he was patient, kind, very knowledgeable of the area and especially the history, and made sure we were taken care of. We are two women traveling alone and we felt safe on this tour. We were able to relax, laugh, and have a fantastic time. I learned so much about Portugal's history and culture. In addition, he got us a table at a restaurant that had my favorite meal for the whole vacation in Nazare! When I come back to Portugal, I am going to book with this company again!

Fatima Trip - We had a wonderful time with Pedro M. He really made the trip impactful with all the history and his pick for lunch (such good seafood!). Even though it was raining on and off all day, we had a great time. Definitely recommend.
