It is probably the oldest fort in the UAE and was occupied by the Wahhabists.

On 30 November 1991, the ruler of Fujairah officially opened the museum. In 1998, the Department completed museum expansion plans with two large halls covering antiquities and three halls for heritage.
  • Al Bidya Mosque - Al-Bidya Mosque, romanized: Masjid Al-Bidyah, sometimes transliterated as Al-Bidiyah or Al-Badiyah is a historical mosque in the Emirate of Fujairah, the United Arab Emirates.
