Fantastic experience - We really loved the tour. Our guide Ricardo, went above and beyond to make the tour special. Even though we went to many tourist spots Ricardo timed it so we would miss a lot of the queues. He didn't just drop us off at spots but showed us around and shared lots of interesting information along the way. It really was a great trip.

Wonderful family day out with the best guide. Perfect! - We did both the East and West private jeep tours with Ricardo. What an excellent experience and worth every penny! Communication was excellent, the vehicle extremely comfortable, the views spectacular, the off - roading a real adventure with a safe and excellent driver, and the lunch stops- delicious! What made this extra special though was Ricardo himself, his patience and kindness with our 5 year old; his love for and expert knowledge of the history and culture of the island and its terrain; his intuative knowledge of what we would enjoy, and the endless photo stops! We saw so much of the Island in two days and really couldn’t have asked for more. The tours were the highlight of a great holiday. Obrigada!

Fantastic Experience! - A great experience from start to finish! Easy and quick communication with Ricardo, pick up and drop off from our accomodation in Funchal which was brilliant. We saw so much of the island from different perspectives and Ricardo added some great personal touches... he was also fab at answering all our questions, giving us recommendations and telling us about the history of all things Madeira! We even stopped along the way for a taste of Madeiran wine and sugar cane biscuit picnic that Ricardo had prepared. I cannot recommend this tour enough, and when we return to Madeira we will definitely be booking another.

Fabulous excursion - We went on this tour when we visited Madeira last month. What a lovely trip - it was the highlight of our holiday. We visited lots of very interesting places, Ricardo was an excellent guide and gave us some good information along the way. We were very pleased to find that we were the only ones on this tour, having a private or small group tour is important to us. We particularly enjoyed the stop off in the Fanal forest - what a beautiful, calming and peaceful place. We stopped for lunch at Porto Moniz - unfortunately the weather wasn't good enough for a swim. Awe would highly recommend this tour and we would definitely do another of Ricardo's tours when we next visit Madeira.

Unforgettable Tour - Amazing tour experience with Ricardo at Nature Connection, this is not your standard 4x4 tour, he really cares about the guest's experience and guides you through all day!! Great way to discover the island - We had a great day and saw a lot of Madeira’s beautiful landscape. Ricardo gave us lots of insights into his island and its history. The off-road paths in the mountains were quite an adventure as well. I was very glad I didn’t drive those steep roads in a rental car. We got to taste bananas straight from the plant and had a little picnic with local cookies and Madeira wine as well as a tasty lunch. Absolutely recommend the tour with Ricardo, it felt very personal and not like a mass-tourist tour.

A fun day in the west, northwest of Madeira - I spent a delightful day with Ricardo touring the west, northwest part of the island in his 4x4 jeep. We were able to see all the tourist areas and go on roads less travelled experiencing more unique parts of Madeira. I especially enjoyed the Fanal forest. Ricardo’s love and knowledge of Madeira is obvious in his comments. I felt very comfortable and safe with his driving skills and would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to go off the beaten path and see the true beauty of Madeira.

Fantastic tour - One of the best tours we've ever taken in all of our travels! Ricardo's love for Madeira came out in his tour. We got to see so many different locations that we would never have gotten to on our own. Can't wait to go back and take another tour with his company!

Spectacular, must do tour! - The views were absolutely stunning we went to the tops of the mountains where you can get a good look at some of the villages, towns and waterfalls. We enjoyed a lovely lunch by the sea , and great splash in the Seixal black lava sand beach we had a lovely taste of local wine and biscuits after. I would recommend this tour much better then driving your self!
