A Great Ride - Comfortable ride; John have an excellent history overview of Medeira: Winston Churchill area, fire damaged area, explained how people began there with terraces, and he drove very safely through so many curves and narrow roads👍. John was easy to visit with; we wished we would have planned a longer tour - maybe even all day👍

Easy Rider - Went on a 4 hour trip yesterday 23Aug.24 our driver Garth picked us up at our hotel ,sorted us out with helmets ,discussed where we were going and off we went.. Went to couple of places we had been to before ,but that was ok as the ride was awesome...then to a couple of viewpoints for picture taking and a stop for coffee and I tried a local poncha ,opted for the fisherman's freshly made ...wow bit of a kick... All in all a great time and Garth was very knowledgeable about island..would highly recommend this mode of transport for getting about the Island. Alan from the UK....

A great way to see Madeira - A really enjoyable experience with a brilliant and knowledgeable guide. We had a 3 hour trip to see some of the sights we missed on our first trip to Madeira.

A fantastic experience - We had THE best day on a day trip with Adventure Trikes touring Madeira. The day was tailored so we saw places we wanted to see and also places our fabulous guide wanted to show us so we didn't miss out. The day was packed with things to see, but also so chilled at the same time. This trip is definitely a highlight of our visit and such a fabulous way to explore beautiful Madeira. An experience not to be missed.

What a way to experience this magnificent island! - Well - what can we say.! From the second John collected us at the hotel, to return us several hours later, this was a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. The feeling of freedom sitting on the back of the trike as we travelled the city, rural and main roads was exhilarating. Whilst the route was our choice, we have been here regularly over the past number of years and told John to give us a time to remember. He could pick the route. John is so knowledgeable but in a casual, informal manner and a font of information on the island, history and way of life. Easy to get on with in respect to company! The locations he took us to were spectacular and we hadn’t been to them previously. Travelling through the country roads, into the mountains, inhaling the aromas from wood burning in homes in villages, to bread baking, eucalyptus growing along the route, to the sea along the coast - wow! An aroma delight! Even the coffee stop was off the main tourist route and so peaceful. We felt truly safe throughout the tour and have agreed to book again for our next visit. We can’t recommend John and this tour enough! Many thanks.

Guide was great. - The guide was great, lovely guy and happy to help. We went to the sky walk and saw some stunning views of Madeira. Would definitely recommend it

Fantastic experience. - I think the smile on my wife’s face says it all, best excursion of our Honeymoon. What a way to see some of the sights of the island and Nuns valley was breathtaking. Our guide for the day Garth was so friendly and knowledgable, can heartily recommend this.

Fabulous - This is just the best way to see just a little bit of the island and learn something of its history. Our driver John was so informative and made the whole experience one not to forget. I am used to being on the back of a trike and worried that being driven by someone other than my husband would make me nervous but, it didn't . John made both of us feel totally safe. If you get the chance to try this experience I would highly recommend.

Trike tour of Madeira - An excellent way to spend a morning or afternoon. Even if you’ve never been on a motorbike or trike before this is a perfect way to experience or parts of Madeira you may never have seen. John our driver will put you at ease if you’re a little nervous, and ask if there is any where in particular you would like to visit. We just left it up to him and we were not disappointed. If ever you’ve spotted them around Funchal and thought that looks like fun well it is, go ahead and book.

Highly recommend - We've been coming to Madeira for many years and were looking to do something different, so we booked a 4 hour tour. Collected at our hotel by John and after a brief conversation of where we'd like to go set off for Nun's Valley. The whole experience was excellent. Various viewpoint stops on way out / return and in between we covered Nun's Valley from above and as far in as you can go in a vehicle. John's knowledge was excellent, feeding us information as we went. Will use again on our return next year. Martin & Pam
