Incredible experience, trip to the past and great views. - Incredible experience, it really felt like we had gone back to the past and the weather was incredible. It was just a shame that we didn't see Dolphins or Whales, but we did see flying fish! A hug to Gonçalo who gave us incredible explanations and suggestions!

Just do it - This turn is a highligt of a Madeira vistit. Nearly authentic and almost fully wooden replica of the Columbus ship sailing along the coast from Funchal to the "Skywalk" cliff. The trip includes dolphins-watching (if these are present that day) and bathing in the sea as well as a glass of Madeira Wine. The crew members are skilled sailors - friendly and helpfull.

Was a experience - Was a nice boat ride, pity i didn't see what i wanted to see the dolphins. Money not worth not seeing the dolphins . Won't go again on this specific boat. Will try another boat.

Relaxing, scenic shoreline cruise - Departure from the port was seamless! The Columbus ship was very unique and a great experience. Crew was great and hospitable. As noted in previous reviews, it would be helpful to hear more about the ship and more of the coastline. Seeing dolphins was an added bonus. Dress in layers depending on weather. Ship stopped for a quick swim for those who wanted.

Slow start, a bit disappointing - Seemed to be a very slow start, taking 45 minutes to get moving properly. Not really informed of what was going on. Nice swim, jumping off the boat at Cabo Graio but then straight back. We didn't think it was great value. We didn't go very far out despite being told we would go further out to see Dolphins/Whales etc. Needless to say we didn't see any wildlife. Nice boat, pleasant staff and a good touch to give us a wee glass of madeira wine and a piece of madeira cake

Of some interest - The view along the coast that we had previously been driven along. Further information about the original ship and its voyage would have added significantly to the experience

Sails was not opened as in the photo - Sails was not opened as in the photo. Therefore, for each unopened mast minus one star. Everything was fine, but paying 40 euros for a tour on an entourage sailing ship, you want them to be opened at least once. Therefore, you should change the photo used for marketing and return at least 30% of the tour cost.
