East Island Great Experience - Excellent day out lead by Guilherme, starting with a hotel pick up, numerous stops, rum tasting and a delicious meal with wine. Guilherme gave lots of explanations and commentary with a great sense of humour. The scenery was stunningly beautiful 😍.

Quality experience - Excellent tour with Luca. Interesting, engaging and interpersonal. Full Day with lots of highlights including a levada walk, a trip to Pico Areirro, various viewpoints, a rum distillery and a nice lunch in Santana. Would certainly recommend this ytrip without reservation.

A great day out - Diago was an entertaining and informative guide. Good to be in a small group of 6. The view at the end of the levada walk is spectacular , especially in swirling mist. Glad the weather improved on the North coast as the views are great Lunch in a small local restaurant was good value

Awesome day with Diogo and Bearded Madeira! - I had the best day on this tour with Diogo as our amazing and hilarious guide. He made this day so much fun with so many laughs. We learned a lot about the island, met some amazing new friends, enjoyed a fantastic local lunch (followed by a rum and poncha tasting), and took in countless, gorgeous views. I couldn't recommend this experience more highly to see some of Madeira's most beautiful and unique sights. Thank you, Bearded Madeira, for an incredible day! I can't wait to come back.

A nice trip despite the rain - We had booked the above tour for Easter Sunday and we started on the Pico Do Areeiro. Unfortunately it was foggy, cold and wet there. Certainly a great starting point when the weather is good. Our guide Luca was very entertaining, gave us a lot of information and got us safely from A to B. The short hike at L’évada Ribeiro Frio was okay. The path is quite muddy due to the weather conditions. So, matching clothes are always a plus! The Miradouro do Guindaste is a small skywalk with a nice view. Unfortunately it was raining non-stop in Santana and due to Easter, it was initially not possible to stay in the restaurant. Luca had obviously reserved something here, which wasn't so clear. We took a little walk in Porto da Cruz, the distillery was closed. The final viewpoint, where you can see both the north and south coasts, was busy, windy and dry. A nice ending at Ponta de São Lourenço. The excursion was well organized, the pickup was on time, small and pleasant group.

Good itinerary - The tour was going well until we were told to meet our guide at 14.10 while he went for lunch with 2 of group. Eventually turned up 30mins late, with several elderly women left waiting in cold wind. Not even an apology!
