We came we saw - Great day out on the west tour. Amazing views kept on coming . The highlight for me was bathing in the volcanic rock pools (3 euros each) . Booking on line means you dodge the time share brigade. Would definitely recommend

Marco gave us the best experience on Madeira. - Marco is a true professional in every way. His ability to navigate any and all issues with transportation was incredible. He was safe, on time, kept to the schedule and provided great service all day long. His expertise of the area, history and interesting facts made the day even more enjoyable. The van was new and roomy. The places he brought us to were breathtaking and truly a marvel to behold. He represents the company extremely well. He is a true gem. We would recommend this tour with Marco to everyone!!!

A good value way to explore the west of Madeira - Nuno was an informative and considerate guide with good English. He included all the places on our itinerary and made sure we had time to enjoy everything. The route included many interesting stops and only one was spoilt due to the cloud enveloping the area. There was time to swim at Porto Moniz for those who wished and he made sure everyone was aware of how far it was to the next 'comfort stop' - an important consideration at one part of the journey ... We booked two excursions with Lido Tours during our week in Madeira and will definitely use them again.

Lovely Madeira tour - We booked at the Lido branch office. Very friendly helpful assistant here, who made lots of suggestions and explained various tour options (her colleague at the office near the Cathedral when we tried to book a 2nd tour was most unwilling to help). Had a lovely trip, but larger tour bus for 17 had old 'leather' seats uncomfortable, with old seat belts that were extraordinary stiff to put on after every stop. Our guide was lovely and informative - just this bus needs to be retired, as saw other buses of theirs that looked far newer and were likely to be fine. Lots of stops at a range of scenic places. Mostly minibuses used due which best for Madeira's roads and topography. Guide was informative and friendly, with additional informal stops to explain things as passed. Plenty of time given to enjoy various stops. And a friendly group of fellow passengers. Great guide and trip - just shame about the bus used. Would recommend company - esp if booked online or at Lido office. Would not have seen the range of places by ourselves. Very enjoyable day out.
