- Lungomare Di Gaeta - Set sail to admire the Gulf of Gaeta, with its ancient fortifications, Bastions, the Church of San Francesco, and the Cathedral of Sant’Erasmo, all overlooking the Gulf.
- Castello Angioino-Aragonese - After crossing the Gulf, we will navigate around Punta Stendardo to view more fortifications, the Borgo Antico perched on the cliff, and the Church of San Giovanni a Mare, which literally overlooks the sea. We will then enter the blue oasis of Monte Orlando to admire the Castle’s Angevin and Aragonese sections. Historically, these Castles served as maximum-security prisons, famously referenced in the phrase “I’m sending you to Gaeta.” The commander will share the history of the city and the castles.

- Parco regionale di Monte Orlando - After the Castles, we will venture into the heart of this protected oasis, skirting the cliffs that hang over the sea.

- Grotta Del Turco - The cliffs culminate in the first large and distinctive inlet, the Grotta del Turco. The commander will explain the grotto’s origins.

- Santuario della Santissima Trinita - Della Montagna Spaccata - Next to the Grotta del Turco is the Montagna Spaccata. Within the mountain’s fissure lies a Chapel. The commander will recount the history and stories associated with the Mountain and its Sanctuary.

- Spiaggia di Serapo - After Monte Orlando, we reach the first of Gaeta’s seven beaches, Serapo Beach.

- Parco Regionale Riviera di Ulisse - After passing Serapo Beach, we will finally dive into the turquoise waters accessible only by sea. The area for swimming (if conditions permit) includes Pozzo del Diavolo and the 40 Remi, natural pools perfect for a unique bathing experience among caves and inlets.
The swimming break lasts about 30 minutes. After the swim, you will have time to dry off and avoid catching a chill before we return to the port.

Dario Vecchio has been conducting tourist journeys and boat tours in Gaeta since 1989. Witnessing Gaeta from the ocean offers an entirely unique viewpoint. While beach lounging is enjoyable and calming, partaking in Gaeta’s splendours to its fullest requires you to unmoor and set sail. This is solely because only by doing so you can access locations that otherwise would be unreachable. Primarily, it allows you to swim in genuine natural pools, enveloped within awe-inspiring landscapes.

A must do Gaeta experience - A wonderful trip- Michele our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Jaw dropping scenery and a fabulous dip midway through in crystal blue water over to a private beach. And complimentary slices of pizza after swimming! Communication was excellent throughout with clear directions and WhatsApp confirmations before our trip and a lovely thank you message afterwards. Highly recommended. We were a party of five, 2 adults and 3 kids ages 10-15 and we all want to do it again today! Grazie mille Michele.

Beautiful Gaeta Boat Excursion - It was great to learn about the history of Gaeta and get to see it from such a beautiful vantage point. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to swim in a gorgeous bay along the coast and felt lucky to have experienced this wonderful town from a local family business. 10/10 highly recommend.

Great boat tour with young children. - The boat ride was excellent! We went with our small children (6 & 3) and the tour guide was extremely accommodating for them. We would absolutely go again!

An experience that cannot be missed to complete your holidays - Excellent opportunity to observe the beautiful and rugged coastline around Gaeta. It's a shame that we didn't have the opportunity to do the 4-hour excursion due to unfavorable weather conditions.

Beautiful excursion on the coast of Gaeta - Wonderful experience, with staff trained in driving, boating and safety. I recommend it to everyone who visits Gaeta because from the sea there are places that you will never see from the mainland. Then there's Bo', a little dog who observes all the maneuvers and if you're not a dog lover he stays on the dock disappointed

The best boat trip in Gaeta - The views were beautiful and the commentary provided was extremely in-depth. Homemade food and fresh water was offered multiple times once aboard the boat. The snorkelling area was beautiful and full of marine life. If you want an experience like no other then look no further!!!!!

Yes I will be back hopefully the pool will be open when I return so I can enjoy that also thank you for my wonderful day - I'd like to write a review from my stay at the Holiday Inn expressed I'm rude one in Saugus we had an early check in because of my HD rewards points actually actually was referred by a couple of people that have stayed there a few tit's very nice I refer a lot of people myself I'm sorry we isn't about free packing breakfast is free and delicious plus they have a little concession area if you need a drink or a snack they have games to play crossword puzzles T v's downstairs in the lobby very nice coffee overtime I enjoyed my stay very much

Beautiful family day at sea - Breathtaking tour of Gaeta by sea. The boat was clean and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely book again and do the longer tour the next time we are in town.

Boat excursion to Gaeta - Nice trip, the attentive and competent crew, the truly evocative views of the coast, and we took photos and shot videos, overall a wonderful morning. The mascot, Beau, a very nice dog! Diletta was kind and very precise, she assisted us with the booking and the appointment. If I return to Gaeta I hope to do the full day excursion. 😊
