Inisheer is the smallest of the 3 Aran Islands. It’s located just 20 minutes off the coast of Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher.

We pick you in Galway, bring you to Doolin and once we arrive at the island, we get our bikes and head out for a 2-hour bike tour of the island. If you are not up for cycling, we can organize a tractor-drawn carriage tour for you at no extra charge.

After the tour, we will have home-baked scones and tea while hearing stories from a local islander!

Once back to the mainland, you will have the opportunity to explore Doolin and grabbing some lunch!

10/10 Recommended Experience - Well worth it for the views of the Burren, the smallest island, and (optional) the Cliffs of Moher. Our tour guides, Tommy and Phil, were very pleasant and had great stories to tell. 10/10 recommend.

Beautiful way to see Inisheer - We had a fabulous day. Phil as our tour guide was fantastic, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The cycling route was more hilly than we expected, but our group was good natured and made sure we didn't get left behind for long. Thank you Ollie's tours for a great time even if one of us only made it half way to heaven. We booked the additional ferry over to the Cliffs. Well worth it, but be warned that seasickness is part of the trip if the sea isn't calm. But they provide bags should you need. Highly recommend!

Great tour - Great tour! We did the guided tour of the Aran Islands with Ollie's tours including transportation from Galway. Our tour guide Phil was excellent. We biked around the Island seeing the scenery and major sites. After biking, we had scones and a beer. Most other tours are a standard bus tour where you drive for hours in a bus and then transfer to a van to tour the Island. This tour is more active and you really get a chance to experience the views and Island. The transportation from Galway was a huge benefit as getting to the tours starting point would have otherwise been very difficult without a rental car. Highly recommend!!

A most excellent day…Phil was the perfect guide - Phil took great care of us from point to point on this tour. His knowledge of Galway, Doolin and the Aran Islands was extensive. He could speak Irish as well so we truly felt we were getting an authentic experience. The van ride was an opportunity to see the breathtaking scenery of the countryside and we were able to take some pictures along the way. Phil knew a great deal about all of the points of interest and the history of the land. The ferry to and from was fun-dress warmly for this. The bike tour was fabulous and once again at each stop Phil was able to give us extensive knowledge of the history, tales and legends of the area. When we were finished the tour we enjoyed the perfect cup of tea and delicious scones with Ulna at her cafe. While we ate we got a wonderful lesson about the history of the early people of the islands as well as their cultures and customs. Ulna’s family has lived in the island for generations and had all the answers to our questions We had time to shop at Aran Swaeter House (authentic shop for Aran sweaters and accessories) and also time for a gorgeous pint of Guiness at ‘Paidraig O Conghaile’ the one and only pub After the ferry back to Doolin we stopped for fish and chips at Fitzs Pub where we were treated most kindly and had another tasty meal and a delicious pint. I would highly recommend this tour with Ollie Tours and hopefully you’ll be fortunate enough to get Phil as a guide.

The best bike tour in Ireland HANDS DOWN - What an incredible day! Phil picked us up from an easily visible bright orange van in Galway and we felt like we had a full tour within a tour just on the ride to Doolin. He was extremely knowledgeable and charismatic, seamlessly got us to Inisheer and we had a lovely bike tour of the island. It is a hilly island so would only recommend if you are relatively comfortable on a bike (though there are e-bikes available as well). The coffee and scones (with fresh whipped heavy cream o m g) were amazing after the bike ride and it was the perfect length of time for a day trip. We had a lovely lunch in Doolin before heading home, which Phil took care of ensuring we were able to get a table. Fantastic day 12/10 - book this tour!!!!!

Ollie’s Tours in Ireland - My wife booked a tour for the Aran island in Doolin Ireland through Ollie Tours. We thought Ollie Tours was the actual boat taking us to the island, not a one on one with an Ollie tour guide Named Conor C. Let me tell you. Best tour ever! Conor was very pleasant, fun and witty during the whole tour. Conor met my wife and I at the boat dock. Conor Walked us onto the boat and was with us every step of the way until we were ready to load back onto the boat back to the mainland. Instead of a bike ride on the island, Conor had one of the horse and buggy's talke us around most of the island. After a wonderful tour of the island, Conor took us to Una’s cafe for scones and tea! Excellent choice! Conor is definitely a great asset for Ollie’s Tours. He had quite a bit of the same excitement and enthusiasm as Ollie showed in his videos! Thanks Conor! Great meeting you and thank you for the wonderful experience! Gerry and Shelly Roy -Louisiana, USA

Fantastic day tour / bike ride with a memorable pint. - Our tour guide Phil picked us up from Galway Cathedral and we drove out to the dooline ferry dock and along the way he told so many fun stories about the area(my favorite was a WW2 mix-up between Bell harbor and Pearl harbor) He told us about the city of Galway And Dublin. This felt more like catching up with a buddy than an actual tour. At the risk of stirring the pot and I will stand by this. The best Pint of Guinness anywhere in Ireland was at the pub just up from the ferry dock.
