Phenomenal Tasting Experience - This was incredible experience. It was really interesting to learn how the whiskey (and gin, and brennevit) is made in-house, and some of the unique methods this distillery uses. They started us off with a complimentary gin and tonic (one of the best I've ever tasted) and kept the tastings rolling from there. The tasting portion of the evening was also phenomenal: it was a true guided experience with MANY varieties to try. I am not a "whiskey person" per se, but there was something to be enjoyed for every palate. The sheer amount you get to try also makes the visit instantly worth the price of admission - but I would highly recommend using a cab service like we did because holy cow we were not fit to drive by the end. The staff are friendly and deeply knowledgeable about the whole process and were willing to answer our questions about Iceland in general as well. Definitely set aside money in your budget and space in your bags to bring home a couple bottles. Long story short, this is a fantastic value for the price and a very fun way to spend an evening in Reykjavik.

Great tasting led by a great guy. - The distillery is based behind a robotics building in an office park. You can either get there by taxi or there is a bus close by there is a 10 minute walk. A very relaxed venue around a bunch of barrels on some very comfortable seats. It starts with a welcoming gin and tonic, and then the tasting starts. The tasting was led by the inimitable “Rok” a multilingual meister. It started off with a bunch of Gin c’s, then a tour of the distillery, and then a whole slew of whiskey ending with the utterly individual sheep poo whisky, which is the reason you probably came to the tasting. (spoiler alert, it tastes pretty good.) A lot of fun and Iwould highly recommended to anyone coming to Iceland let alone Reykjavík. Can buy the whisky’s there as well as other assorted goods. €35 when we were there in May 2024 but I would book ahead as some days they don’t have it.

Top experience - Fantastic tour with a fantastic guide. The tasting was the best I've been to, many whiskeys to try and also gin. The guide was incredible and mixed humor with very interesting information. One of the better experiences on our trip to Iceland.

Superb distillery tasting session - Excellent tour of a small distillery, where the staff are rightly proud of their products. Extensive tasting of gin, brennevin and whisky. Well worth the price. Many of the products are available in the duty free shop at Keflavik airport. The t shirts are pretty cool too!

Excellent tour and tasting! - Excellent craft distillery! I went on their tasting and tour. It's an intimate operation, but mighty! They have a great assortment of offerings at the tasting from craft gins, brennivin, and whiskeys! Everything was absolutely wonderful. Great flavors that made it hard to not buy everything right them and there! Their flagship single malt is amazing! My guide was knowledgeable and and answered all of my questions! Would highly recommend this to any whiskey lover!

Disappointed in Customer Service - I made an error when booking, and contacted Viator within an hour of booking to notify them I accidentally selected a date when we wouldn’t be in Iceland yet. They were unable to change the date, therefore we paid full price for a tour we didn’t take
