Awesome experience to see the Liguarian Coast! - Booked this boat charter for our honeymoon and first trip to Italy! We had Rocco as our guide and he was AWESOME! He made sure we had a memorable experience and was great at recommending places for us to eat/see at each of our stops! We had literally the best time and if we ever come back to this area we are booking with Rocco again!

“Best day ever” on the water! - I cannot thank Rocco enough for the amazing time we had with him. In the words of my 6-year olds, it was “the best day ever.” He was thoughtful and courteous and went out of his way to ensure that my twins were both cared for and entertained. The boat was certainly comfortable for our group (4) and allowed for a great combination of swimming, snorkelling, tubing and visiting both Portofino and Camogli. Rocco is clearly experienced and knows the area like the back of his hand. If and when back in the area we will 100% book another day (or two) on the water with him. Thanks Rocco!

Excellent day on the water exploring San Fruttuoso, Portafino, Camogli and more! - Lovely day on the water seeing San Fruttuoso, Portafino, Camogli with lots of opportunities for swimming. Rocco was a great host and customised the tour to us. We wouldn’t have been able to see so much in the same time if we traveled by ourselves. A great mix of activities. Highly recommend!

Fantastic private boat trip from Gonova to Portofino and back! - Rocco was a wonderful captain and the boat was quite comfortable even in rough seas. We stopped for swimming and snorkeling and a lovely lunch spot, all expertly curated by Rocco. I would highly recommend this adventure!

Fabulous Day on the Water! - We spent the day today on Rocco’s boat, 4 teenagers and 2 adults. Awesome day!!! From the start Rocco was a good communicator before our trip, and during our trip today he worked so hard to make it a wonderful experience. We saw dolphins en route to San Fruttuoso and Rocco positioned the boat to get some great pictures. We loved our quick stop in San Fruttuoso, toured this little town and saw the “Jesus of the Abyss”. Next on to Portofino, he pulled us right up to the front sea wall and we got out to explore. Very hot day, so when we messaged Rocco that it was time to go he was ready to take us on to a beautiful swimming spot near Camogli, then into town for lunch. He gave us some guidance and off we went for an amazing lunch at Binji. Rocco got us back to port right on time. Fabulous day on the water!

Magical day in Portofino, San Fruttuoso and Camogli! ☀️🇮🇹 - Wonderful and unforgettable day! Rocco was punctual in picking us up at 9am and got us back in time to our cruise. It was a 15 minute walk from the port to his meeting place. He was very friendly and our experience was very relaxed and truly enjoyable! Our time in each of the areas we visited was customized to what we wanted to do and focus on. He offered suggestions but was very flexible! We have been on multiple boat day trips including Capri and Cinque Terre but the beauty in this region is second to none! We stopped in San Fruttuoso, Portofino, lunch in Camogli, also went for a swim. Truly a magical day! Thank you Rocco! 🙏🇮🇹

Fantastic customized boat tour out of Genoa - BOOK NOW!! - This was one of our best days on our cruise. My three friends and I booked the day with Rocco instead of choosing an excursion through MSC and boy are we glad we did! He met us at the easy to find arranged place and we immediately hopped on his boat and headed off to the coast of Cinque Terre. The ride out was about an hour and was fantastic (he even stopped to scoop up my friend's hat that blew off!). :) We stopped in San Frutosso where Rocco parked the boat so we could swim and snorkel, then Portofino to shop, and finally, Camogli to have a delicious lunch with fresh seafood. Then back to Genoa in plenty of time to get back on the cruise ship. It was an amazing day in the Mediterranean and Rocco was a wonderful host and tour guide! I would highly highly HIGHLY recommend this tour. Thank you Rocco!!

A very fun family day - the boat left much to be desired, but it worked. Make sure you know what boat you are getting. - Overall, it was a very fun family day in an amazing area of Italy, seeing and feeling the sights of San Fruttuoso, Portofino and Camogli is definitely something that was truly enhanced by experiencing it by a private boat. That said, the boat was a bit disappointing for what we paid, but it worked, just make sure you know exactly which boat you are requesting. We have had a few different private boat excursions and this was the first one we didn't know in advance of what the boat was (which was essentially an extra large and reinforced inflatable dingy). The boat driver (Rocco) was friendly and knowledgable about the areas we visited and clearly understood how much time we wanted to spend in each area, as we flexed our interest to cut short or stay longer in area if we enjoyed it, etc.

OK, but way overpriced for what you get - Rocco is a nice man but his business leaves a lot to be desired. For the high cost, it's disappointing in too many areas: the size of the boat (at 7 meters, nowhere to sit comfortably, just a flat cushioned deck); no soft drinks -- even cold water; the snorkel and goggles were dragged out of an unkempt compartment under his seat and rinsed in the sea before being handed to us; and there was no timing organization at all. In fact, on the timing, he changed the meeting time to 20 minutes later than the contract start time, forgot where he told us to meet, which would be fine if he had been at the correct location, I had to track him down, so we started roughly 45 minutes late and were returned to dock not 8 hours as advertised but 7 hours after the start. I would not recommend paying more than €300 per group but it's a lot more.

Young women beware - Young girls beware of Rocco. He hits on young girls and makes them feel very uncomfortable. The views are amazing but Rocco is not professional and makes inappropriate sexual comments to his female clients. Also very pricey. I suspect he charged over the usual rate, taking advantage of lesser experienced clients. CREEPY; I do not recommend!
