Highlights
 • Hat Yai Municipal Park - Greeted by our friendly tour guide at your hotel lobby, you’ll travel in an air-conditioned car, van, or coach.

First Stop: Four Faces Buddha Temple ‘Phra Phrom’ - This shrine, located on a hill in Hat Yai Municipal Park, is dedicated to the Hindu god Brahma. Many visitors come to pray and have their wishes granted. The temple is surrounded by miniature elephant statues of various sizes, donated by devotees, and features a Three-Headed Elephant statue, ‘Airavata,’ mid-hill. A firecracker house is situated at the hilltop for lighting firecrackers for good luck. A cable car connects this hill to another, where the Standing Buddha is located. From the hilltop, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Hat Yai City and Songkhla.

Second Stop: Kuan Yin Temple

 • Laem Samila - Next, we’ll visit Samila Beach, known for its fine white sand and shady pine trees. From here, you can see Laem Son Onn to the northeast and Chalathas Beach to the south. East of the beach are Ko Nu and Ko Maew (Mouse and Cat islands). On clear days, Kao Seng Hill is visible to the south. The beach’s main landmark is the Golden Mermaid statue, a significant symbol of Songkhla. Various facilities like sidewalks and pavilions have been added to make this a key attraction in Songkhla.
 • Asean Trade Bazaar - Our next stop is the local product market in Hat Yai.

Proceed to: Hat Yai bazaar.

The ASEAN trade bazaar in Hat Yai is a lively hub of diverse cultures, showcasing regional specialties, fostering business collaborations, and providing a unique platform for networking and economic growth.

 • Hat Yai Floating Market - Our final stop is the floating market. Located conveniently close to the city center, this market offers a wide variety of reasonably priced Thai foods and clothing, attracting both locals and tourists daily. If you’re hungry, grab a table and enjoy traditional dishes like noodles, luk chup, quail eggs, and Thai salads. Browse the market’s extensive selection of casual clothing, such as T-shirts and tops, to find good quality at affordable prices.

Your driver will then transfer you back to your hotel.

This was a great tour however, started... -
This was a great tour however, started off a little sketchy. We started off with an English speaking tour guide in a tour van and once we reached the Thailand border, the tour guide switched and we were transferred into a small vehicle. The second tour guide was very nice however, spoke minimal English. I would not have minded however, the tour was advertised with an English speaking guide. Amazing sites. I wish I could have known a little of the history or tidbits of what we were seeing.
