Fantastic and insightful food tour with James. - We had a fantastic tour experience with James. We started with noodles and won ton and traditional nutmeg drink. We experienced home made food at small local eateries with great insights into the history of Penang and key land marks and architecture. Our kids 16 and 19 also really enjoyed the food and James’ stories of Penang’s heritage. Thanks for an amazing experience James!

Fantastic food tour with Janes - We had an excellent food tour with Janes. He was really knowledgeable and friendly, proving samples of most of main Penang food highlights. We definitely left feeling full. Added bonus was additional history of Penang as we walked the streets. Definitely recommend and do as soon as you arrive, Janes gave us other tips / recommendations for next few days. George Town definitely lived up to its foodue reputation 😋

Good Food, Good Time! - James was an excellent, entertaining, and kind guide! Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about food, but he eloquently told the rich history of Penang in between each well-paced meal stop. Make sure you come hungry - every single dish is worth the taste. I would highly recommend and can't wait to be back :)

Delicious and informative! - James was a great guide, with lots of great information and stories that revealed bits and pieces about the history, culture, and politics of the area. I was the only person on the tour and he modified on the fly based on our conversation and questions I asked. I tried several dishes and enjoyed them all. Unfortunately, I didn't check the calendar and didn't realize my tour was on a holiday when many places were closed; so while I got pleasantly full we weren't able to get several items that were on the planned tour.
