Highlights
  • Bali Pulina Coffee Plantation - Enjoy breakfast in a natural jungle pool while taking in the surrounding nature. This is one of the many activities to do in Bali. BALI COFFEE PLANTATION Bali coffee plantations are among the newer tourist attractions in Bali, typically located in mountainous areas. The island’s rapidly growing and expensive coffee is known as ouwak coffee, produced through the fermentation of civet coffee beans. - Tegalalang Rice Terrace - The Tegalalang Rice Terrace is undoubtedly one of the most stunning places to visit in Bali. It has become a popular stop for travelers journeying between Bali’s beaches, mountains, and volcanoes. The breathtaking green rice paddies seem to stretch endlessly. Part of the Cultural Landscape of Bali Province UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Tegalalang Rice Terrace features cascading emerald-green fields tended by local rice farmers. The rice paddies are part of the subak, a traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system, which, according to history, was introduced by the revered holy man Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. Here is everything you need to know about Tegalalang Rice Terrace in Ubud, Bali, but feel free to skip to any section that interests you. - Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary - The Ubud Monkey Forest is a nature reserve and temple complex in Ubud, Bali, home to around 340 long-tailed Macaques (Macaca fascicularis). The monkeys are divided into four groups, each occupying different areas of the park. The Sacred Monkey Forest is a major tourist attraction in Ubud, drawing over 10,000 visitors each month. Visitors can stroll through the forest and enjoy its tranquil atmosphere. Covering about 27 acres, the forest is home to at least 115 different tree species. It also contains the Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal temple, a “Holy Spring” bathing temple, and another temple used for cremation ceremonies. - Ubud Traditional Art Market - The Ubud Art Market is an excellent place to find beautiful silk scarves, lightweight shirts, statues, kites, handmade woven bags, baskets, hats, and many other handcrafted items. Known locally as Pasar Seni Ubud, the market is located opposite the Puri Saren Royal Ubud Palace and is open daily. Most of the items at the Ubud Market are made in nearby villages such as Pengosekan, Tegallalang, Payangan, and Peliatan. Its central location among these art-producing villages and in the heart of Ubud makes it a strategic spot for shopping for Balinese handicrafts and souvenirs. The Ubud market was also featured in the Hollywood movie Eat Pray Love, in a scene where Julia Roberts’ character strolls through the stalls. Bargaining is a common practice here. - Jimbaran Beach - Jimbaran is famous for its delicious and romantic beachfront seafood restaurants. At sunset, the coast is filled with the enticing aromas of freshly grilled seafood and the soft glow of candlelit tables. From here, you can watch planes take off and land at the nearby airport. Visitors can choose from the morning’s catch of snapper, clams, crabs, lobster, or squid, and enjoy the stunning sunset and the soothing sound of ocean waves while digging their toes into the sand. After sunset, several restaurants offer live entertainment, such as mariachi bands or traditional dance performances.

Nice getaway and memorable experience! - I love enjoy about this experience and it truly was an experience. From the time my guide Putu picked me up from my hotel he made sure I was well taken care of and even played music I liked. Putu was also very accommodating and allowed me to work in a spa visit to my trip and go to a different Jungle swing as I had already been to the other one. Side note I definitely recommend the Alas swing over the Aloha one, there are more picture stations, swings and other activities to do including a pool and restaurant inside the park.
