Excellent experience provided by Gib's gin genius and Master Distiller - Gib's Gin Genius Peter Millhouse - Master Distiller at Gibraltar's only distillery - gave an excellent gin experience presentation. Informative, hilarious in places and including six samples and a cocktail to finish. The drinks form a tutored tasting, illustrating both the development of gin and the progress made at Spirit of the Rock. The whole experience can be taken seated throughout and there is a ramp at the entrance to assist access for people with disabilities. My partner's father, who isn't steady on his feet and requires some assistance walking, also got inside with no difficulty. The distillery has been going for about 5 years and has already been acknowledged as producing one of the finest gins in the world (the Campion Gin) and you will of course get to taste that gin amongst the samples that you're given. The focus of the tour is on gin: there are other spirits produced at the distillery (notably the excellent Moon Lizard vodka) but if you want those, you'll find them at a competitive price in a number of local bars. Footnote: There's a shop at the airport for duty free purchases of the distillery's products (so no space taken in your suitcases) and you can pre-order for collection on departure to ensure availability. These products are exclusive to Gibraltar at present and I can guarantee you'll want them!

Don't miss this, you won't be disappointed. - What a great way to spend an hour or so. So interesting learning about the history of gin making and of course the all tasting as we went along to accompany the talk. Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and came out into the sunshine a little tipsy. Well worth every penny. Don't miss this.

Worth doing in GiB - Great experience worth the 20 quid, Peter is knowledgeable and informative, he has a deep understanding of the subject matter and highly entertaining delivery, you will learn things you never knew, also the gin he sells is excellent and unique. A great way to send an hour or so, easy to end up a little sloshed!

Distillery Tour - It was a great visit. I actually screwed up by attendng a week earlier than my ticket. Somehow I seem to have screwed up my booking. Had a one to one event and bought some nice stuff. Will probably do a repeat next time I'm on Gibraltar.

Don’t miss on your trip to Gibraltar - Did the gin experience with my partner. We learnt so much about the history of gin as well as the different types of gin on the shop shelves today. Peter was so animated and engaging, and the gins we tasted were spectacular. Would recommend as an activity not to miss on your trip to Gibraltar
