Great Private Walking Tour with Ona! - We had an English private walking tour with Ona, who was a great guide! She was knowledgeable, funny and helpful at the end of the tour with a lunch recommendation. Ona is fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan, so she spoke to my in-laws in Spanish and to us and our kids in English, which was so helpful. She also pointed out the linguistic differences between Spanish and Catalan at points around the city, which we would not have learned without her! Ona explained the history of the city, the architectural features of the major buildings and pointed out so many interesting things that we would have never seen or learned on our own. Girona is a city of MANY stairs and it was very hot the day we were touring (heat wave in August!). Ona helped us to stay in the shade, went at our pace (2 people in their 80s and 2 kids) and showed us several public water fountains in parks where we could refill our water bottles. The private walking tour with Girona Experience is a perfect option if you are touring with a small group or your family and need to be able to take a few breaks or want to ask a lot of questions!

Wonderful Girona tour with Sara! - We had an amazing tour with Sara! Sara is very professional, super nice and helpful. She's local so she has the best stories and anacdotes. She was able to answer any question and show us the most unique places. We highly recommend this tour in Girona!

Highly enjoyable tour - If booking a guided tour in Girona would highly recommend the Girona history and legends tour. Our guide Ona was superb. Highly knowledgeable and informative she provided us with a great insight into this beautiful and historic city. Also for Game of Throne fans Ona was able to remind us of where a number of the very well known scenes were filmed. After the tour we had lunch at Casa Marieta which was very enjoyable and can highly recommend when visiting Girona.

Disappointed/poor English - The level of English of our guide was below expectations. We speak multiple languages and are used to decoding but it was simply too much work to understand aspects of what the guide was getting at. She also lacked enthusiasm and animation.
