Highlights
  • Pyramids of Giza - At the scheduled pick-up time, your tour guide will meet you and take you to begin your day tour at Egypt’s most significant attraction. You’ll spend 2 hours with 3 stops in the Pyramids of Giza area: one at the Great Pyramid of King Khufu (the last of the ancient 7 wonders), another for a panoramic view of the 3 Pyramids, and finally, a visit to the Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx.
  • Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Next, you’ll be driven to Saqqara to see the 6-step Pyramid, King Teti’s Pyramid, and his vizier’s tomb.
  • Memphis and Sakkara - Your guide will then take you to Memphis, Egypt’s first capital, where you’ll learn about its history and the first king of the first dynasty. Afterward, you’ll return to your hotel, concluding the first day.
  • Alexandria - On the second day, your guide will pick you up from the lobby at 7:00 am for the 2.5-hour drive to Alexandria.
  • Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - You’ll explore the Catacombs, which feature a blend of Greek, Roman, and ancient Egyptian art across 3 floors, including the main tomb with its carved statues and symbols.
  • Pompey’s Pillar - Visit the 3rd-century Pompey’s Pillar, a 25-meter red Aswan granite column, the last relic of the Seraphim Temple, built in honor of Emperor Diocletian.
  • Kayetbai - After the 11th-century earthquake destroyed the Lighthouse of Alexandria, Sultan Qaitbay built the Alexandrian Fortress to protect northern Egypt. Your guide will share insights about the military monuments and the lighthouse during your tour of the Qaitbay Citadel.
  • Bibliotheca Alexandrina - You’ll then visit the Alexandrian Library before returning to your hotel in Cairo.
  • The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - On the third day, you’ll explore Islamic and Coptic Cairo. Your guide will pick you up at 8:30 am to visit the largest museum in downtown Cairo, where you’ll spend 2 hours learning about ancient Egyptian civilization.
  • Coptic Cairo - Visit 3 significant churches in Cairo’s oldest area, including Abu Sergia Church, where Jesus, Virgin Mary, and Joseph lived for 2 months and 2 weeks. You’ll also see the Hanging Church, built on the base of a Babylon fortress tower, and St. George’s Greek Church, as well as the Ben Ezra Synagogue.
  • قلعة صلاح الدين الأيوبي - The Saladin Citadel, the world’s largest citadel, is located in eastern Cairo. Built to protect the city from the east and south, it served as Egypt’s governance center 800 years ago. The citadel houses many mosques, the most notable being the Alabaster Mosque. From here, you’ll enjoy a special visit to see Islamic art and a panoramic view of Cairo.
  • Khan Al-Khalili - Stroll through the oldest Islamic street, where you’ll see ancient Islamic monuments such as mosques, schools, water buildings, and hospitals. You’ll also have the chance to bargain for souvenirs before returning to your hotel in Cairo.

Egypt Tour - I had a great time in Egypt! Kudos to Hussein Elgabry with Egypt Tours Club, He was amazing! Best tour guide ever!🤩He's informative, transparent, and funny! His wealth of knowledge has no bounds! We had a marvelous group of people! We had so much fun! To our group of friends, thank you! Some of our tours were the Pyramids, the Sphinx, Camel ride, and dinner on the Nile, just to name a few. Oh! Can't forget the Falucca boat ride! With the fresh air, people, music and dancing, it was relaxing and so much fun! I could go on and on, but if you are traveling to Egypt, make sure you ask for Hussein with Egypt Tour Club! It's a trip of a lifetime!!

Fast and furious - We had a blast. Two fast days. Got to see a bunch of history and laugh like school kids. Hussein was top notch and patiently put up with our shenanigans. His history knowledge was expensive and could go into detail or stay simple depending on your desire. Can't wait to hit Luxor.

See everything in 3 days in comfort, safety and honesty. - Being taken to see sites that would otherwise not have been possible without the expertise of the driver (Ahmed) and guide (Jimmy) who provided an outstanding experience which was reliable, honest and at all times they made us feel very safe and secure. Nothing was too much trouble and at the end of each day bith were still available if we wanted to do something in the evening. We saw the main sites suggested in their 3 day intinerary and were not overlaoded with information, it was just the right amount. We spoke freely about Egyptian culture and people. A visit to the market was great and it is worth noting that on the first day we did very short visits to a carpet school and papyrus and perfume shops which we could have declined but decided to go with it to see what happens. Sure we did feel a little pressured in to buying something but we only did so at the papyrus shop as we saw something we genuinely liked. The choice is yours to visit these places or not. Lunch was at places we would never have found, so that was an additional bonus and we were always asked if there was something in partciular we wanted to either have or avoid. Days 1 and 3 were absolutely brilliant, Day 2 was a 4 hour drive to Alexandria so it was a lot of time spent in the car which was fine, but personally if you don't fancy traveling 8 hours in a day then Alexandria I would say is not totally essential. The weather (second week in March) was perfect for sightseeing, it was never too hot to enjoy and we finished out trip with a lazy day by our hotel pool. Cairo is an intense city, lots of traffic, dust and sand, the people are lovely and we found spending the days on the tour and then at our hotel in the evening to relax was the perfect plan. On a different note I would suggest taking some travel sickenss tablets if you are struggle in a car, my wife and I were fine as Ahmed was an exceptional driver who took no risks and we felt very safe. However do take with you some medications incase you get an upset stomach as travelling in warm temperatures with a lot of dust and sand can have an effect on you. I can't recommend this trip highly enough, if you are going to Cairo request Ahmed and Jimmy and be safe in the knowledge that you will be escorted all the way and they are on hand to advise you on everything. Communication was excellent, time keeping spot on and a trip to remember for a lifetime. We'll certainly be exploring more of Egypt in the future.

Awesome couldn’t have had a better tour guide. He was was amazing knowledgeable and caring. Terrific job. - Pyramids, temples, everything dinner cruise, shopping at the old market, getting a history lesson from museums. Overwhelm by the massive pyramids. The pleasure of finally ridding a camel.

Illinois To Egypt - This allotted space isn’t enough to share the full experience. EVERYTHING was beautiful and breathtaking. Visiting the church where the holy family once traveled to, of course, was emotional for me. Our tour guide, Hussein Elgabry, was the epitome of kind. He truly took care of us ladies, made us feel safe, and protected. I felt like I was in school because he has a wealth of knowledge, and it all made sense. I now call Hussein friend, and I do not take this lightly. Oh, I also made him my Egyptian husband😀. So, if you’re thinking of traveling to Egypt, using this company and Hussein, would definitely be a smart choice. Hussein, may GOD forever bless you and yours🙏🏽 We’ll see you in 2024 to complete the other tour🇪🇬

An experience of a lifetime - Completely amazing. Hassan made the experience memorable, interesting, and safe. He was so knowledgeable about literally everything. He knew the right amount of information to give on the tour. The restaurants he took us to were all pretty good. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the experience we wanted. He took us to the authentic shops. I can’t even say what my favorite part of the tours were bc everything was perfect! I definitely recommend Hassan and this tour. He also takes AMAZING PICS!!
