Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body, which dates from the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramids of chefren This temple served definitely two functions: First, it was used for the purification of the mummy of the king before its burial. Second, it was used for making the Mummification process of the king. After visiting the pyramids, you’ll then continue across the plateau for a photo opportunity of three pyramids.

Embark on a tour beginning with the majestic Great Pyramids of Giza & Sphinx, the Dahshur Pyramids, historic Memphis & the Saqqara necropolis.
Your guide will collect you from your Cairo hotel to commence your personalized day trip to the Pyramids, Dahshour, and Saqqara. We’ll start off with a visit to the Giza Pyramids and explore the pyramids of kings Cheops, Chephren & Mycerinus.
Next, we’ll drive to the panorama location to capture unforgettable pictures of the trio of Pyramids, before moving on to the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. A visit to Dahshour will allow us to see the first complete Pyramid (the red Pyramid), and the Bent Pyramid, both of which belong to the king Senefro.
Following this, we will head over to Saqqara—the oldest burial site of kings, princes, and nobles. Here you can see Zoser’s structure—the first monument made of stone in the ancient world—and the famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser. After enjoying a lovely midday meal at a local restaurant—vegan dishes available if required—we will conclude our tour and return to your hotel in Cairo.
