Essam made it so interesting even for my two boys - Essam is an amazing guide. He is so knowledgeable on Egyptian history. He took us through the Egyptian museum and made it so interesting even my two boys, 9 and 15, were captivated. (Usually very difficult with my boys) It was very hot but he showed us the highlights in a chronological order that helped us to understand. We had a nice local lunch where we felt like locals. The visit to Giza pyramids was great with Essam giving us so many interesting bits of information. He always gave us several options on what we could do in terms of entering the pyramids, walking around, or just car stops and pictures from good spots. Essay really made it a top experience! Pyramids day tour with Marco and Badr - Booked a day tour with Deluxe Tours. Badr, the driver picked us up from the hotel on time and took us to pick up Marco, our Egyptologist for the day. We were so blessed to have Marco as our tour guide. His knowledge is exceptional, my wife is really into ancient Egyptian history and had her book with her. Marco was easily able to answer and questions she had and could tell the story behind the various pictures in the book. Marco has 27 years of being a tour guide and has studied 8 years of Egyptian history to Masters level. If you are assigned Marco, you will have an excellent experience. Our day with flexible and Marco took us to some great sights off the beaten track that we would have never known about ourselves. We had a great variety of sights throughout the day. Thank you so much Marco and Badr. Badr was a great driver and professional making our 1 day in Cairo perfect. Keen to do more tours with Marco outside Cairo next time.

Recommended, everything as promised - The tour was perfect. Mona/Mónica was a very interesting guide, with a guide in Spanish and a very friendly driver. Everything was organized and adapted to the things that interested us. He explained to us very well not only the history but contemporary Egypt. The tour included Sakkara first (great to do it in that order), then Memphis, we had lunch (drinks not included) and finally Giza. We made stops at a papyrus and essence store, but no one was upset if we didn't buy and we were happy with the purchases we did make. It was really a good day, despite the heat (40º!), thanks to Mónica/Mona!

Excellent. Highly recommend - Took my dad for his 50th birthday to see the pyramids. He couldn’t have been happier with the tour. We learnt so much information and also had a lot of fun. Nevin was an amazing tour guide and fit in a lot of activities into our day. I couldn’t recommend her anymore and I can’t wait to come back to visit some other places with her.

Great tour with Marco! - We had a wonderful tour with Marco and our driver. Marco helped us to enjoy some pleasant surprises and spots that I hadn’t seen in previous visits to the Giza Plateau or Sakkara. He was also very well-informed and had answers to all of our many questions.

Excellent Experience - The tour was excellent as my guide, Ibrahim Abdultawab and the driver Mohammad Abumelik were so good in their work, professional and know what they are doing. Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum and Nile Private Boat Tour as well as Papirus Museum were wonderful…. I strongly advice to take this tour.

Memorable day trip - Essam was a great guide - very friendly, knowledgable and fun. We learnt so much from him and saw so many amazing sights in just one day. We were well looked by him and the driver ( Abdul?) Lunch was a delicious local meal and the air con minibus was a welcome shelter from heat. Thank you for an unforgettable day.

A fantastic day - We spent a fantastic day with Essam visiting Memphis, Sakkara and the Pyramids of Giza. Thanks to his experience and expertise we were able to learn so much about the places we visited (and some we didn’t), that we could never have picked up on our own. He answered our many questions, took wonderful photos, was generous in sharing his knowledge and was fun as well. I would definitely recommend and we will remember our day long after we return home.
