Highlights
  • Pyramids of Giza - Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by a tour guide. The Giza pyramid complex, also known as the Giza Necropolis, is located on the Giza Plateau in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It includes the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx of Giza. These structures were all built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. The site also features several cemeteries and the remains of a workers’ village.

The complex is situated at the edge of the Western Desert, about 9 km (5 mi) west of the Nile River in Giza, and roughly 13 km (8 mi) southwest of downtown Cairo.

  • Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The Great Pyramid of Giza, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops, is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex near present-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one to remain largely intact.

  • Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple contained several statues of Khafre.

  • Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure.

  • Great Sphinx - The Sphinx dates back to the reign of King Khafre. During the New Kingdom, Amenhotep II dedicated a new temple to Hauron-Haremakhet, which was later expanded by subsequent rulers. The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

  • Gizeh Plateau - The Giza Plateau is a limestone plateau in Giza, Egypt, home to the Fourth Dynasty Giza pyramid complex, which includes the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the Great Sphinx, several cemeteries, a workers’ village, and an industrial complex. It is the northernmost part of the 16,000 ha Pyramid Fields on the edge of the Western Desert near the Nile Valley, which are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Memphis and its Necropolis.

The plateau is elevated approximately 60 meters above sea level.

Marwa, Marwa, Marwa!!! - Marwa Galal was nothing short of AMAZING! She is so full of knowledge, speaks very well and is easy to understand and has the most amazing personality! It’s exactly what you want in a tour, she will read the group and adapt to your liking and she knows exactly how to get whatever you want out of your trip! We loved her so much and had such a great time with her we requested she be our guide for all of our booked tours for the week and she accommodated every one she could! She and our driver make the perfect team, he is also amazing, very courteous and knowledgeable, he’s a great driver in the CRAZY streets of Cairo and beyond and is also low key funny and he LOVES TO DANCE! The tour itself is exactly what you’d expect, we saw the amazing sights, Marwa took the absolute best photos and helped us with the best poses but her hospitality and kindness were what make this tour an absolute must-do. I would 100% tour with Marwa anytime and recommend her to everyone!!!

Amazing tour - friendly driver and tour guide. - Our driver and tour guide were amazing! They were so helpful with all of the time changes that I had to make due to our flight arrival time changing four times. They were accommodating and very communicative to my messages. When we finally arrived, they were so friendly and informative. We are so thankful we had this tour as it was top notch. Both the driver and tour guide were professional and friendly. It was a beautiful day in Cairo! Thank you so much for all of your hard work!

Highly recommend this tour - This trip is amazing and well worth it. Picked up promptly by driver Shady. Drove safely and he was courteous and friendly. Our guide Hamdi was knowledgeable, warm, friendly and courteous too. Gave us lots of history and answered all our questions. Spoke and understood English well. Never felt rushed. Took lots of pictures in right places/ angles. Very well organised. We felt safe with them. Price included a ticket to go inside and climb the narrow shaft up , nearly to the top of the Great Pyramid. Enjoyed the prepaid in ticket half hour camel ride with more photo opportunities and panoramic view of all 9. Taken to the Sphinx and got more history and fancy pose / plain photo opportunities . Gave option to go to shops but we declined and he wasn’t pushy. Lunch was at a local restaurant and tasty with a very good spread of Cairo dishes. Drinks chargeable. Transfer back to hotel arriving 1.30. All in all, a memorable day which we shall never forget. Highly recommend this tour and the driver and tour guide we were given. Thank you to them and the tour operator.

Although you COULD do this alone. I recommend getting this tourfor the historical information, knowledge, and tricks. - 2 good things about this tour - 1. you get a driver that gets you to the pyrimids, and more, and 2. the guide can get you around all the harrassing vendors, provide lots of historical/ current information you'd never know otherwise. KNOW THIS!! The walk through the great Pyrimid is VERY difficult for many. Our guide suggested we, instead, got through the next one instead, where the walk througgh is much easier, bur we instisted on the 'great' one - and we made it to the top - but WOW!! it was HOT, Sweaty, and if we had to do it again, we might take his suggestion. Tour guide can help a lot! Very good.

Disappointing private tour with hidden costs; advised to book guides through hotels to potentially reduce issues. - Negative experience. I paid for a private tour of the pyramid and the Sphinx. The tour guide claimed his "credit card was broken," so I had to use mine to buy the tickets. They didn't take me to the Sphinx, saying "people are not allowed there anymore," so I went back the next day on my own. Instead, they took me on a camel ride and for coffee, later charging me a higher price. Book your guide through your hotel. It's likely you'll still encounter some issues, but there will be fewer arguments.

A complete rip off. Take an Uber and buy your own tickets. - We paid for a private tour lasting from 8am - 1pm. After seeing the Pyramids and rushing us out of the car for a quick snap of the Sphinx we left the site and were told we were going to a place where we could buy papyrus. When we said that we didn’t want that we were offered oils and when we said no to that the bus took us straight back to our hotel. On a much quicker route than it had taken to get there. We were back by 10.30am and had to pay to return and buy new entry tickets so we could spend some time wandering and exploring. Just terrible. And very expensive for nothing.
