Qutub Minar - Qutub Minar is an iconic monument that narrates the history of Delhi like no other. It is part of the Qutub Complex, which includes the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, Alai Darwaza, Alai Minar, Ala-ud-din’s Madrasa and Tomb, Iron Pillar, Tomb of Imam Zamin, Sanderson’s Sundial, and Major Smith’s Cupola. The tallest brick minaret in the world is said to have been designed based on the Minaret of Jam in Afghanistan. It is situated in Mehrauli, the heritage storehouse of Delhi.

Red Fort - The Red Fort, or Lal Qila, represents the cultural, political, and architectural majesty of the Mughal Empire, marking the Indian historical landscape with rich, diverse hues. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, construction started in 1638 and was completed in 1648.

Jama Masjid - The mosque is near the Red Fort, another of Shah Jahan’s buildings. Jama Masjid and its courtyard stand on an outcropping more than 30 steps higher than the street, giving the mosque a commanding view of the surrounding area. The longer name, Masjid-i Jahān Numā, translates to “world-reflecting mosque” or “world-displaying mosque.” The mosque was built by a crew of some 5,000 workers. The principal construction material was red sandstone, but some white marble was also used.

Lotus Temple - The Lotus Temple, located in Delhi, India, is a Baháʼí House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986. It is notable for its flowerlike shape.

India Gate - India Gate was built to commemorate the soldiers of the Undivided British Army (also known as the British India Army) who laid down their lives during the First World War and the Third Anglo-Afghan War of 1919.

Raj Ghat - Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, also known as Mahatma Gandhi, was assassinated on January 30, 1948, and the following day, his body was cremated at a spot near the Yamuna. Raj Ghat marks the exact location where Gandhiji was consigned to flames and his last rites were performed. A simple memorial was built at this place in keeping with Gandhiji’s philosophy and practice of living a modest life.

Originally, Raj Ghat Gate was the name of an old gate that existed in the walled city of Delhi called Shahjahanabad. It opened on the west bank of the River Yamuna at a place called Raj Ghat. Later, the area where the memorial for Gandhiji was built came to be referred to as Raj Ghat.

Mehtab Bagh - Mehtab Bagh is the oldest garden built by the first Mughal king, Babur. It is now the best place to view the Taj Mahal from outside. Evening is the best time to visit this garden, so after visiting Agra Fort, drive to Mehtab Bagh and view the Taj Mahal at sunset.

Agra - Ranthambore (5 Hrs drive)

Ranthambore Fort - Ranthambore Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site under “Hill Forts of Rajasthan.” This majestic fort stands atop a 700 ft. hill and has played a vital role in the history of Rajasthan. Rajput King Sapaldaksha of the Chauhan Dynasty laid the foundation of Ranthambore Fort during the mid-10th century. The kings who succeeded him contributed to the construction of the fort.

Ranthambore National Park - In the late afternoon, around 3 pm, start your evening jungle safari, and return to the hotel around 7 pm.

Monkey Temple - Galtaji Temple, or Monkey Temple, is a famous and ancient pre-historic Hindu pilgrimage site. It is located in Rajasthan, around 10 km away from the Pink City, Jaipur. The place has a series of temples built in the form of a ring around the hills, surrounding the beautiful city of Jaipur.

Amber Fort - Amber Fort is located in Amer, about 11 km from Jaipur city. Amber was the capital of the Kachhawaha until Jaipur was made the official capital in 1727. Amber is generally pronounced as Amer. It is situated about 10 km away from Jaipur on the Jaipur-New Delhi road. It was governed by Kachawaha rulers and was the capital of the old Dhundar state of Jaipur. The town was originally named Ambikeshwara and was later shortened to Amber or Amer. The establishment of this fort began in the 16th century during the reign of Raja Man Singh. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder and ruler of Jaipur, personalized the fort during his reign. Construction of the fort was started by Raja Man Singh I in 1592 and was completed by Sawai Jai Singh in the 18th century. The Amber Fort was completed within two centuries by the consistent efforts of three consecutive kings following Raja Man Singh.

City Palace of Jaipur - The City Palace of Jaipur was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur, between 1729 and 1732. It was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur and his successors for centuries. The palace complex covers one-seventh of the walled city and consists of several buildings, courtyards, and gardens that showcase a blend of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles.

Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - The Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is a collection of 19 astronomical instruments built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The monument was completed in 1734. It features the world’s largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is near the City Palace and Hawa Mahal.

Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - Built in 1799 by Rajput king Maharaja Sawai Pratap, the Hawa Mahal is a glorious structure made of red and pink sandstone, showcasing the impressive artistry of the Rajput era. The palace is a blend of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles. It was built during a time when the ‘purdah’ system was followed, which dictated that women were not supposed to be visible to the public eye.
