Thamel - The Gosaikunda Trek begins with a 7-hour drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, where you’ll travel on the famous Prithvi Highway. Along the way, you’ll pass through charming villages, terraced farms, lush green hillsides, and occasional mountains such as Ganesh Himal, and Annapurna Range before reaching Galchi and Trishuli Bazaar.After a few hours, you’ll arrive at Dhunche, which is the administrative headquarter of Rasuwa District. Syabrubesi is the gateway to most of the trekking destinations in the Langtang region, providing various facilities such as hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, ATMs, and shops. Take a stroll around the lively town of Syabrubesi to soak up the local atmosphere.

Gosainkunda Trek is an amazing trekking trail that combines the remote and quaint valley of Langtang with the high mountain lake of Gosainkunda. Gosainkunda Trek is one of the popular treks in Nepal located 140km north of Kathmandu in Langtang region. It is a sacred holy lake believed to be created by Lord Shiva. This pristine lake is assumed to have magical healing powers so Hindus and Buddhists from all over Nepal come to visit the lake, mostly during the full moon night in the month of August.
