Great Tour and Information - Our guide was filled with knowledge and was great leader. Touring this without a guide would be looking at ruins without the background and knowledge that she gave our family. It was a great tour. I do recommend the 9 am before it is too hot!!

Excellent tour…consider your mobility issues if you have any - Great tour!! Definitely glad we went with a guide instead of on our on. Georgina was so knowledgeable and made sure we were all together. The walk up was much more tolerable because she found shaded spots for us to stop at along the way. Definitely try to go early or late to avoid crowds. This is a strenuous walk…rocky slopes and slippery steps at times. If you have trouble with mobility I wouldn’t suggest it. But if you can make the rough terrain and just need some stops along the way, do it!

Great tour - Had a great tour of the Acropolis and Parthenon with Kostas. As a registered guide and Archaeologist, his knowledge and enthusiasm for this incredible monument is infectious. We went in the height of tourist season, and yes it was hot and busy, but the mic’ed guide and earpieces were fantastic to hear all of the commentary. Also, do the Museum add-on as this was also very informative (& air conditioned!) Take water and a hat. Great tour

Guided Tour with Kimon - Kimon was a wonderful tour guide. We chose the 8:30am group tour. Although it was only 2-hours, it went by fast. Kimon made our walk fun with his light humour. He was very considerate, always choosing shaded spots to stop when he shared his rich knowledge of the monuments and repeating how to spot him through the crowds, by looking for his red umbrella. Our girls (15 and 11) enjoyed the quizzes and I loved that he remembered all our names. Would definitely recommend Kimon.

Touring the Ancient Acropolis with Harris from Athens Walks - I had an absolutely incredible tour with Harris from Athens Walks. The ease and organization of check in was something to be desired and the tour continued to be nothing short of perfect. Right at the beginning, Harry gave the group 3 options: The normal tour, the extended tour, and the extended extended tour. Our group selected the extended extended tour and the level of detail was unparalleled. For no additional charge, our two hour two was over 3 hours. I was blown away by the level of detail and the passion Harry put forth throughout the acropolis tour. It was informative, jaw dropping, eye opening and the message that Harry delivered in front of the Parthenon gave me chills! Very well done!!! Definitely ask for Harry if you want an above and beyond tour!

Meeting place hard to find - Very rice Acropolis. One thing that impacts the experience was the difficulty of finding the meeting place. We asked the staff at Acropolis main entrance and gift shop and nobody knew where the meeting place was. It took us half an hour to find the place. Directions should be very clear with a map with tourist having no internet access to google. The guide was very good.

A tour of history. - Walking Tour was easy to get to using Google maps. It was well marked. The folks there were nice and accommodating. We started our tour on time and the Guide provided information about various parts of the Acropolis and the Parthenon. Our tour was only the Acropolis as others include the museum. The tour leader took us about 3/4 way around the Parthenon then the tour ended. She took the rest of the guests to the second portion of their tour. The tour guide was good and answered any of our questions.
