Don’t do the Acropolis by yourself - book this tour - One of the best walking tours I’ve done and this was purely down to the passion and enthusiasm of our guide Artemis. Funny, warm and full of facts she brought the Acropolis tour to life. Of course the Parthenon and Erechtheion were sublime but a major highlight was the Acropolis Museum - British Museum please give back the remaining artefacts! Would absolutely do this tour again!

Best of the Acropolis - Our tour guide was exceptional. Very wise to start the tour early as when we were leaving the Acropolis it was mad confusion and would not have been very enjoyable. Our guide was very knowledgeable in the history of both the Acropolis and the museum artifacts. Highly recommended

Best tour of Acropolis and Museum - We had a fabulous tour of the Acropolis and museum with Simon. He is very passionate about the history and relates it in a way that makes the history come alive. Simon is very knowledgeable, interesting, considerate and funny! He ensured that everyone understood the details that he explained in a storybook fashion. He selected the best places for the group to stand for the best views and shade. He also pointed out areas of the walk where caution was required due to the slippery marble (even when dry). Simon remembered everyone’s name and included all participants in an enjoyable question and answer session. He was also able to answer all questions. We liked the addition of the museum on the tour - it was a highlight and not to be missed. Simon is a fantastic guide and a wonderful storyteller. We highly recommend this tour.

Best tour in Athens - Great tour, very knowledgeable guide and the Acropolis was amazing and the National Museum very interesting with a very good cafe. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Cool tour with great views - We really enjoyed our tour of the Acropolis, Parthenon and Acropolis Museum. Our guide, Katerina, was very engaging and knowledgeable. There are some pretty slick portions of walkway and lots of uphill/stairs so be sure to wear good shoes. But the views at the top are worth it!

Great info, incredible.... - Great info, incredible. Impressive museum. It’s too bad the British Museum wouldn’t give back the pieces they took to get closer to the complete collection of artifacts. Ijota was great!!

Expert guide - Amazing small group tour with friendly, expert archeologist, Marilena. She told us everything we could want to know and answered all questions. Walked at a perfect pace. We went on 7.45 tour and missed a lots of the crowds

Guide was loaded with much information - The guide certainly was armed with much information but I do have several suggestions that would have improved the tour: 1) Guide should hold up something - a flag or whatever so guests could easily identify them. With so many crammed into smaller space it was easy to lose guide. 2) guide should use at least an I-pad instead of phone to shoe relevant pictures. Phone was too small to see the pictures. 3) So much information was given it would have been helpful to have a handout so guest could review the info later - I would have found that to be very helpful
