Additional Information

Embark on a guided hiking journey through Granada’s legendary regions of Albaicín, Sacromonte, and San Miguel.

Plaza Nueva, a picturesque meeting point, bridges the gap between Granada’s historic and contemporary sides, making it the perfect location to indulge our interests in hiking, nature exploration, historical narratives, and the culture of Granada.

Our journey will lead us through the quiet pathways of Albaicín and towards the Sacromonte caves - houses carved within the rocks of Mount Valparaíso. On the other side of the valley, we are overlooked by Mount Sabika, proudly topped by the sparkling jewel that is the Alhambra.

Our modest climb begins towards Sacromonte Abbey to appreciate its majestic architecture. We’ll track the trails that run through the pine forest and lead us to Mount of Olives or Cerro de San Miguel. The hermitage of San Miguel provides one of the most stunning vantage points to view the Alhambra and Granada’s rooftops.

We’ll conclude our journey back in Albayzín and bid farewell at the San Cristóbal viewpoint.
