  • Rivington Street - From learning about parts of Victorian London that haven’t been touched for over a hundred years to the very new & electric Brick lane. From seeing all the different cuisines and cultures mixing together to then stop and talk about the old Truman’s brewery, which dates back to the mid-1600s and was once the largest brewery in the world.

Your three-hour tour will begin near Old Street Station, whetting your appetite with craft beer and sweet treats from an artisan doughnutry. Then you’ll be whisked away to sampling kosher bagels and local real ale or wine. We will explore the bustling Spitalfields market and also try some succulent morcilla or a pick from a selection of Basque pintxos from Sagardi. Further down the lane we go we will taste some delicious homemade pakora / bhaji or samosa from one of the oldest Bangladeshi sweet shops on Brick lane.
At the end of the tour, you’ll have the full flavour of the East end - served with a spicy side helping of history along the way.

Great food, great fun - Really fun time had with Eddie showing us the sights of East London. Eddie is a really personable guy that obviously loves the history that he knows so well, and it shows. Would recommend, if not for the history, then for the amazing food.

A Fun half day with the bonus of great food, drink and a friendly small group - What a great day this was. The tour was a birthday gift, and something we would not previously have booked ourselves. What an eye-opener, as it was very special in a number of ways. We visited a number of cafes and shops we would normally have walked straight past. I was expecting small morsels of food at each, and "buying opportunities". But no, we had effectively a very generous lunch spread over several stops. Eddie was genuinely a perfect host, remembering our names and things we discussed and linking them to new conversations. A bonus was the number of short stops we also made to take in social history in this interesting area of London.

Great afternoon out - I attended Eddie's food tour around East London and I'd highly recommend it. With an activity like this, the experience is defined by the guide and Eddie is engaging, knowledgeable, and strikes the right balance between teaching you the local culture whilst maintaining easy-going, relaxed conversation. One can tell that he enjoys performing his tours, and that enjoyment seeps into the audience. I'll hope to attend another of his tours when family come to visit me in London.

Great fun and company - Just spent a great Sunday touring, with our guide Eddie, and sampling generous portions of delicious food around Brick Lane, Spitalfields and the surrounding area. Eddie was a wonderful guide, so informative, upbeat, relating many historical tales from the area; the whole afternoon felt like an outing with friends, finishing with craft beers and a chat. A brilliant walking and eating tour! Not to be missed.

Fun and Food East End Tour - We spent over 3 hours learning about the hidden gems of the East End with Eddie! We were so full we could hardly finish our food at the last stop! Eddie integrates his love of history, knowledge of art and passion for food throughout the entire afternoon. Prepare to enjoy this interesting neighborhood, and try different food from Sri Lanka to Spain. We can’t wait to come back to spend more time with Eddie and try another tour!

Amazing tour with delicious food in East London-- do not hesitate to take this one! - Eddie's tour was incredible. First, Eddie has a wealth of information about the East side of London-- we learned a ton! Second, the food was amazing. We've done a bunch of food tours and the food on the East London tour was some of the best. We also didn't get so full that we were uncomfortable (which happens on other tours). It was the perfect amount and I feel like I got a taste of some of the best parts of East London that I could not have gotten otherwise (the salted beef bagel is something I DREAM ABOUT now!!!). We had an amazing time. I would definitely go back for this tour and for any other tours from Eddie. By the end of the tour, we felt like Eddie was part of our crowd! Thank you!!

An original, informative and tasty tour of East London. - An original and informative walking tour of the East End coupled with tasting a variety of food from different countries and cultures across the world. There were just 4 of us on the tour and Eddie was both informative and entertaining in his presentation of the tour.
