Fascinating evening! - Our tour guide Magnus was informative, funny, and very interesting. Besides giving us detailed information about Jack the Ripper, which was fascinating, he also was very knowledgeable about the locations we passed along the way on the bus, getting to our Jack the Ripper starting spot. Definitely recommend!

A Ripper of a Tour - The narrow alley of Victorian London was awesome, and our guide was invested in giving us a great experience.

Ripperologist with a good sense of humour - Led by Ripperologist Magnus, this was a fun tour with a good insight into what happened here. He was a little heavy on trying to promote his own stuff on the tour, but his theories make sense. His sense of humour made up for any perceived issues, and he kept us all entertained. He even wore the coat and hat, though he claimed it was because it was for the reason of it being NOT what the Ripper would have been wearing. Tour includes a coach ride, a walk, then another ride. Recommended for those in the beginnings of their Ripperology career, or those who just want something fun to do Halloween night like us.

Not our thing - The tour on the bus was informative and fine but the walking tour was a little boring. Maybe it got better but we left the tour about halfway through.

Disappointed - Guide was obviously well knowledged but disappointed with the whole experience. Not sure how Sherlock Holmes came into the tour except where we got off the bus

What a disappointment - There was nothing haunted about this tour. It was only focused on the Jack the Ripper only. There was nothing about Sherlock Holmes but to be dropped off at the pub at the end of the tour.

Poor experience - The buses were severely delayed and I did not have access to other forms of transportation. When I arrived 4 minutes before departure, the doors were locked and I was not allowed to join the tour bus. The sign said the doors locked 2 minutes before departure, but that was not my experience. Regardless, nothing in the tour description or details states that the doors close and lock early.

Lousy tour jack the ripper - Can’t remember the tour guides name he was a tall gentleman and work top hat and red vest, he was very knowledgeable but his delivery of the details was quite dull and dry. NOTHING about Sherlock Holmes other than the pub. Total waste of our money.

Extremely disappointing- don’t waste your money or time! - This tour was so NOT what we were thinking it would be! While our tour guide tried, it was not a great tour. We looked longingly at another, much bigger tour where the guide had pictures of victims, maps, and was animated and interesting. Our guide, Magnus, tried, but didn’t give the experience we had hoped for. We had to ask about Sherlock Holmes, to which Magnus replied with one sentence about it. We also didn’t get to see the William Wallace monument, which is the main reason why we spent $60 for each person instead of $20 for a regular tour. He spent much of his time talking to the bus driver, who was nice, but not the regular driver in a double decker bus. The driver of that bus had been delayed significantly by an accident and traffic, so we got this tour bus instead. Unforeseen things do happen and we understand this, however, this tour was NOT what we had paid for at all! We had the feeling that the rest of the people on this tour thought the same as us. We were in good spirits and loved being in London, so we didn’t let it ruin our evening. We just spent a lot of money on something that was false advertising. Don’t waste your time or money on this tour- get the cheaper one!
