Great tour for changing of the guard - Our guide Tim was great. Very knowledgeable and funny. The tour covered a lot of history and he got us great vantage points for pictures & the changing of the guard. He was great with questions & was easy to move together as a group. I would highly recommend him!

Great Tour (Despite the weather) - We could not see the full Changing of the Guards due to weather, but our guide, Tim, kept us entertained and very well informed. He was clearly very knowledgeable about the history behind the various buildings, was able to answer all of our questions, and had a great personality.

A truly royal experience ! - Absolutely loved the tour! The guide was very knowledgeable about the history and had lots of interesting fun facts about the monarchy and the royal family! He knew the best spots to see the changing guards and photo opportunities! We even caught the king on his way to work! Can't get more royal than that!!

Even though it was pouring with rain... - <p>Even though it was pouring with rain this was an AWESOME tour. My only recommendation is the meeting place needs to be changed as it wasn't quite clear where to meet.</p>

Not the best guided tour, but friendly guide - I booked the Royal Family french guided tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly, and did his best to speak french. However, when we were in the crowd it was very difficult to hear him or to see what he was showing on his folder. Unfortunately, he did not make any effort to speak louder, be more dynamic nor lift his folder for everyone to see. We spent ages at Buckingham palace, which was the noisiest area we visited. My parents really enjoyed the tour though.

Such a disappointment. - For a company that is based in the service sector, Best Tours fails in delivering upon customer service. Long story short, signed up for a Buckingham Palace Tour (London) through the UK affiliate, booked via Expedia. I went to the meet-up point as indicated in Expedia, but never saw the tour guide, and now Best Tours won’t refund me. Upon arrival at the meet up point, did not see the tour guide (no sign, etc.) – when I called in to the Best Tours office, they called the guide as well as gave me his number to call – and no answer. Turns out the guide had messaged me (to his credit) but via Whatsapp, a non-standard third party app that requires data usage (to which I did not receive said messages until I was back at the hotel and on wifi). The guide’s reason for that method of communication was that ‘Whatsapp is very popular here.’ Despite calls, texts, and emails with the main office for Best Tours, they have not refunded my ticket despite their poor organization and poor communication, and refuse to own responsibility for the poor judgement and mishap caused by their guide. Sadly, now as I prepare these remarks, I’m finding tons of other similar reviews and experiences. Such a disappointment.
