A wonderful day - Both places are worthwhile to visit when coming to London. Can’t missed to mention that the out guide PABLO definitely made the trip much memorable and interesting! He is funny and introducing the history and destinations with a lot of humour. Besides, PABLO is very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed chatting and having a day trip with him so so much. A grateful experience from tourists from Hong Kong.

Great! - The tour was great. We appreciated the excellent guide Danxia who was able to switch between English and Mandarin within half a second as well as our impeccable driver Mario

Well worth it - highly recommend! - Eileen was a fabulous guide. Her knowledge was incredible and she made sure that everyone on the tour had an optimal experience to suit their own expectations. The day was structured so that there was a perfect balance of formal guided tour and free time to explore both Cambridge and Oxford. People had the option to stay with Eileen for the whole day and hear all sorts of facts and anecdotes; or to stay for the essential guided tour and branch off for self discovery, meeting back at the bus at a scheduled time. It was a brilliant day and full but not overwhelming. Kieran was a skilled driver who navigated the traffic so well that we got extra time to explore Cambridge - the bus drive was smooth, comfortable and enjoyable!

Perfect tour! - I went with family on 2nd April to Oxford and Cambridge with Golden Tours. The driver was Mr. Malcolm and the guide was Ms. Danxia. This is one of the most well- organised tours that I have gone on. The time keeping by staff was perfect, there was no delay from start to finish. The bus is in very good condition, with heating, well- maintained and clean, with charging ports at every seat, and the audio by the guide was very clear. We were very thoughtfully provided with garbage bags as well! There is a toilet for emergencies. Malcolm is a very careful and professional driver, we were taken very safely to and fro, but punctual, and we had enough time to visit both places comfortably. Danxia is the star of the tour! An extremely professional lady, friendly, and who goes the extra mile to help us with any query. She is very knowledgeable, and told us about the history of both places in depth. She was very clear with instructions regarding timings of the tour, when we will arrive at the destination, how to find our way back to the meeting point, and where to find lunch and toilets! At the end of the tour, she was kind enough to walk down to each party and ask them about the tour and give guidance to their queries. Danxia, thank you for your great smile always! Highly recommend this touring company!

Great storytelling! - The tour took about an hour to drive first to Cambridge where we stayed for about 2 hours, then about 2 hours to drive to Oxford where we were at for about 2 hours. We returned to London around 6:30 p.m. Peter Rabbit was our guide and Dan our driver. Dan was generous to give us an extra 30 minutes for our tour. Peter did an excellent job giving us the pertinent history. He's a great storyteller using metaphors and humor. This is a fast paced walking tour that was bilingual (English & Spanish). You have about an hour on your own to explore. Because of COVID, food is not served so you buy your food/snacks when you're free to roam.

Mixed review of Oxford/Cambridge trip. - Our guide was VERY knowledgeable and interesting when we were on the bus and could hear him.....this trip is inherently flawed. By that I mean this--the guide, the tour is under the pressure of time. It was difficult, if not impossible, for the guide to herd the tourist together. He walked too fast. Also, he spoke so softly that it was not easy to hear him as he lectured on this site, that site. In short, the trip was hurried from start to finish. BUT I do not know how to improve the experience given the constraint of time as well as the mobility of the tourist group.
