Fantastic tour by Val - Val was super knowledgeable, smart, and a fun tour guide. She knew so much about the history behind Stonehenge and all of the surrounding areas that we visited during our travels. I would recommend booking this tour to get a different experience and feel of the quaint, beautiful countryside. We really enjoyed the town of Bath and the cotswolds. Stonehenge was definitely something to visit outside of London.

Thank you for an absolutely amazing tour - There just aren't enough good things to say about our The English Bus tour to Stonehenge and Bath. Our guide was the lovely, witty, insanely well-informed Lucy. What I did not expect was the amazing amount of fascinating facts and stories we would be provided, starting from the minute we left London and continuing for a good bit into the trip. Lucy is deeply passionate about archeology, the civilizations that molded this part of the world, and the existential meaning of what we were about to see. Really, it was that awesome. You may also learn a fact or two about defusing bombs in post-war London or why a cabbie-rest is called a cabbie-rest. We were afforded the added "secret" side location on the way home, which - without spoiling potential surprises - was as fulfilling as the primary tour itself. Added logistics - lots of opportunities to use bathrooms at various times. Get a Cornish pasty in Bath and keep moving - make the best use of your limited time. And plan ahead for dinner - in retrospect, we would've gotten something the day before to have in the fridge for reheat on return to the flat. You get home pretty late (but it's worth it!) and all the restaurants we shutting down. A sincere thanks to Lucy and The English Bus for making our first trip to London and England a special one. You are a rare find!

Best Day Trip Ever! - This was a perfect small-group tour! Val was so passionate about her job; friendly and so informative and helpful and funny! She kept us on the edges of our seats the entire day. Best tour guide we’ve ever had on many trips across the world! Each stop was great and so special. Val adhered to the schedule and followed the promised time for each, which often doesn’t happen. She accommodated indiv needs by dropping off people at the end closer to their final destinations, gave us suggestions for restaurants, transport, everything! We are 2 teachers and she delivered in every way—it’s not just a job for her!!! She took us down windy roads in the gorgeous countryside, giving us tidbits of information in a fun and memorable way. This will be the highlight of our trip and cruise coming up.

GREAT sights of BRITAIN! - It was well worth it. We had a great driver/guide named Cara. She was so amazing! Very friendly and kind, making sure we were all comfortable. She is an encyclopedia of knowledge about everything British, with a comical view point. She made everything interesting. The sights were fantastic, especially Bath. After doing this tour, I need to come back and spend more time in Bath. Highlight of the tour.

FANTASTIC TOUR - GOOD VALUE - ZERO COMPLAINTS - The bus was right on time always! It was right where it was supposed to be always. CARA Withers was THE BEST tour guide ever! She was the most enthusiastic and animated guide we've ever had (and we've had lots)! She knew everything there was to know about everything and was happy to share! Nice, newer bus that was clean and cool inside! The experiences were great! Great bang for the buck getting all these fantastic sites in one day! Stick with a small local tour company and you won't regret it. Thank you guys so much from USA! (:
