Such a wonderful tour - Such an informative and delightful tour. Our tour guide. (Sorry, I’m bad with names) Was fabulous. She deserved more than five stars. We met with a very impressive female beefeater, and learned so much about them and how to become a beefeater, or what is required that is. I would gladly do the tour over again and will absolutely recommend it.

Too gory, but beautiful buildings and jewels - Although it was way to gory (I would have preferred info on buildings rather than forms of torture) the tour was very well done.

Beefy Tour - Informative tour and great to skip the long lines. Crown Jewels, talking to a beefeater, old fort, and armory were all really interesting.

Best tour we had - I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Don was an amazing guide and gave so much historic information. It was so fun to meet a woman Beefeater and she was just lovely.

Great tour of history - The Meet and greet. Plus our guide, Don, was terrific. Made the fascinating history of the place come to life.

Well worth your time - Very well organized. Beefeater was funny, informative, and well organized. Guide was a wealth of information. The Crown Jewels are amazing!

The History of the Tower of London - We loved the stories and details shared by both the guide and the Beefeater. This tour offered more than just a walk through the tower. The grounds and the people who lived there were all brought to life.

Good guide and... - Good guide and interesting trip. Unfortunately weather was not friendly, but we still saw and heard all. Guide was knowledgeable and kept the group moving.

Missed opportunity - Mixed bag. The information was great. So was the attraction. Unfortunately we spent 2+ hours mostly listening to the guide talk while we stood in the rain. He took us into the torture chamber and explained it. He let us go inside to see the Crown Jewels — which were incredible. We also listened to /chatted with a Beefeater which was excellent. The tower site has many towers and buildings. But everything else was us standing outside with the guide pointing, telling us stories and history. Don’t get me wrong, I both appreciate and enjoy history BUT I paid hundreds of dollars for a tour, not just a lecture. I wanted to SEE things and experience them as opposed to hearing about them. Clearly the guide was quite knowledgeable but the tour should have taken us through more of the buildings. That would’ve made the tour infinitely better. Yes the guide told us that our tickets allowed us to visit the other buildings later but frankly, after nearly 3 hours in the rain we weren’t in the mood for much more. This was definitely one of those tours that could easily have been a 3, 4, or even 5 stars, but just plain missed the mark.
