- Face coverings are no longer mandatory in Windsor Castle, however they are encouraged.
- Download the audio tour in advance, please search for the ‘Stonehenge Audio Tour’ in your App store, until further notice.
- You must bring the e-ticket provided to gain entry to this tour.
- Our vehicles are modern, comfortable, and kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, including a deep clean every day.
- During peak periods, additional vehicles without Wi-Fi may be used. Windsor Castle is a working royal palace and planned closures/disruptions may be subject to change.
- When the State Apartments are closed the Precincts, Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and the Drawings Gallery will remain open.
- St. George’s Chapel is usually closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services. Windsor Castle closures: 25 and 26 December – Castle completely closed.
- Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A walking tour of the town will take place instead.
- Due to on-going roadworks between Gloucester Road and Victoria, your tour will end within a 3 minute walk to Gloucester Road Underground Station. This station is in Zone 1 and is three stops Eastbound on the Circle Line or the District Line to Victoria. The Piccadilly Line also runs through Gloucester Road and is 5 stops to Piccadilly Circus.

Definitely worth your time! - An excellent trip with a perfect amount of travel time as compared to time to explore the various sites of both Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Our narrator guide Oscar and bus driver Elvio were excellent.

Excellent organization. - All very well. The times very well measured. The guide is very friendly. The castle is spectacular, we would have loved to visit the chapel but it was already closed.

After a horrible start a really good day - My day with Golden Tours got off to a horrible start, they canceled my scheduled tour, rebooked me on a different tour and did not let me know, Oliver and his team of drivers turned the day around. I ended up going to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Oliver the tour guide was informative and personable answering all questions with a smile. We had enough time at both stops and the locations were interesting and enjoyable.

An OKAY choice with a mean guide - The tour guide was communicating an a bit passive aggressive way, he seemed to be a bit burnt out and impatient. We had just enough time at the 2 venues (2 hours at Stonehenge, 3 hours at Windsor), the trip was okay.
