Highlights
  • Windsor Castle - Your coach will leave from the designated meeting point at 8am sharp – make sure you’re there minimum 15 minutes before to check in! The first stop of your adventure will be the world’s oldest and largest occupied castle, Windsor Castle, where you will arrive at approximately 9:30am. With its sweeping landscaped gardens and a striking round tower, it’s easy to see why Windsor Castle is King favourite weekend residence. Enjoy wandering through the lavish State Apartments - home to priceless artworks by Rembrandt, Leonardo da Vinci and many more - and visit the beautiful St. George’s Chapel, the final resting place of former monarchs including Henry VIII and the wedding venue of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle! - St. George’s Chapel - Step inside St George’s Chapel, located on the sprawling grounds, where notorious King Henry VIII and his favourite wife, Jane Seymour, are buried, as are Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. St. George’s Chapel is one of the finest examples of gothic architecture in England. It has been the setting for many royal weddings and is the burial place of ten sovereigns. The Chapel is dedicated to the patron saint of the Order of the Garter. Britain’s highest Order of Chivalry. St. George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services. These occur at the following times: 08:30 – Holy Communion 10:45 – Mattins and Sermon 11:45 – Sung Eucharist 17:15 – Evensong - Windsor Guildhall - This 17th-century historic masterpiece building is situated in the High Street, only 100 metres from Castle Hill. Prince Charles married Camilla Parket Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall at Windsor Guildhall in 2005. - Stonehenge - The true meaning of this ancient, awe-inspiring creation has been lost in the mists of time. Was Stonehenge a temple for sun worship, a healing centre, a burial site or perhaps a huge calendar? How did our ancestors manage to carry the mighty stones from so far away and then, using only the most primitive of tools, build this amazing structure? Surrounded by mystery, this prehistoric monument never fails to impress! - Bath Abbey - Standing proudly on the slopes of the River Avon, beautiful Bath was the first city in England to be a designated UNESCO World Heritage site in its entirety. The city’s stunning honey-coloured Georgian architecture, the gorgeous 15th century Bath Abbey and the romantic Pulteney Bridge (modelled on Florence’s Ponte Vecchio) are all sights you’ll want to linger on! - Pulteney Bridge - Pass by the romantic Pulteney Bridge, modeled on Florence’s Ponte Vecchio. - The Roman Baths - No tour of Bath would be complete without a visit to the famous Roman Baths that gave the city its name. This beautifully preserved bathing complex still flows with water from Britain’s only hot spring. Get a glimpse of how the Romans liked to unwind and see for yourself if Bath’s waters really do have healing powers by tasting a sip in the Pump Room, a stunning neo-classical salon. - *Golden Tours - Golden Tours is London’s foremost sightseeing company. Beautiful tour! - This was absolutely amazing trip! The tour was very well organized, time efficient and interesting. The guide was very helpful, did everything to make it comfortable and easy. I would only wish if we had at least one more hour in Windsor and Bath. In Windsor we covered the all parts including, but we have to move in a fast pace. Bath worth to visit for the whole day, but this tour gives you a vibe of this beautiful place. Absolutely recommend this tour!

Day 4 of our UK and Europe Tour - Oliver was larger than life. Funny informative and courteous. Our driver Elvaro guided the bus smoothly and engaged with Oliver in banter which enriched our day. Appreciated the discipline. Be back. We are two couples friends for years. Australians enjoying the trip of our lifetime.

Infirmative - Stonehenge was fantastic. Very quiet and serene which surprised me. Lucy, our guide and Kee, our driver were great. Lucy is extremely knowledgeable and shared her knowledge with enthusiasm. Windsor Castle was closed and the tour contained a lot for one day.

Good tour but you can make it better - Guide was excellent and tour is super interesting and informative. However it would be beneficial if you had at least wi-fi on a board and also tv screens on the bus were not working . Also it maybe beneficial to do only Windsor/Bath Tour to allow more free time in Bath .

Plan to starve for 12 hours otherwise good - The itinerary was great, aw with most of these trips there was not a lot of time at each stop to e plate it. However the time was managed well by the guide and we were able to be satisfied with our time at each spot. Having said that my biggest complaint is not having one stop with extra time to grab a bite to eat. You had to make a choice of seeing what you paid to see or eating. 12 hours is a long time to go without food. There was the option of bringing your own food on the bus as long as it was cold. Still you had to take time away from what you paid to see to get it and there was not enough time as it was. I am diabetic and have to be careful what I eat. The quick things to grab were pastries sandwich type filled with savory options which looked delicious yet I was not able to eat them . There needs to be an extra 30 minutes built into the middle stop in order to get a proper meal. If not for that I would have rated higher. Also there is not an appropriate option below to choose I was with my adult son.

Stifling heat on the bus ride - I hate to do this because the tour guide was excellent. Unfortunately, when we got on the bus there was only single seats available and we had to go to the very back row. I am 6'3 and my knees were jammed up against the seat in front of me. That was not the worst of it though. The air conditioner did not work in the back and both my wife and I almost got sick several times on the bus. We even considered getting an Uber from Stonehenge back home which was the first stop. Unfortunately, and Uber from there was $350 at the time. That was almost as much as the tour itself. We decided to move forward. Even the lady next to me at one point looked like she was about to get sick. She jumped up, grabbed the railing and was white as a ghost waving paper in front of her face. It's unfortunate that people pay good money and then spend such a long time on a bus that doesn't offer adequate air conditioning. If you do go on this tour, make sure you show up at least 45 minutes ahead of time instead of the 30 minutes recommended to make sure you get a seat that's not in the back. Needless to say, I'm sorry I have to leave this review, but people should not be subjected to this.

English language tour in VERY broken English. - Was pleased to see places, Stonehenge in particular, that I have never seen before. Windsor castle was cool too. Not enough time in Bath. It was too much packed into a very long day. I do not mind the marathon. That was not a problem for me. People were great (very nice) but it was very very difficult to hear and understand the very broken English of the tour guide. I feel bad to say this because he seemed like such a nice guy. But, I was so disappointed because I chose the tour to gain background on these places of interest and could hardly understand a word he said. Luckily, I sat next to Dan. She was so nice and friendly. I wish she would have done the narration instead. Perfect American English. An English tour should be done with a person having a strong command of the language. Disappointing.

Do not recommend - The tour was rushed, so it was very unsatisfying. We got less than an hour at 2/3 locations. People got left. The meeting points were unclear. The tour guide misinformed us about the castle & changing of guard, so we missed that. There wasn't time to complete the castle, stonehenge, bath tours & get food as advised, so not only were we hungry despite bringing our own snacks, but we didn't get to try the local foods. I was charged for my 4 year old, but everywhere we went, children under 5 were free except Stonehenge.

千万不要使用这家旅行社! - The staff of this travel agency are very rigid and mean, and like to use their meager power to embarrass others to the maximum extent possible. We booked the trip three days in advance, and we also showed him our two booking confirmations, but because their own booking system was backward, the information recorded on paper could not be found, and they were not allowed to get on the bus because of their harsh words and attitude. Extremely bad!
