Wonderful Tour and Guide! - Our tour guide, Frances, was kind, knowledgeable and personable. He made our tour super enjoyable and escorted us to the Churchill War Rooms. He was able to lend stories from his own personal experiences. It was very enlightening and we would thoroughly recommend!

Excellent WW2 Walking tour - I cannot remember our guide's name, but he gave an outstanding tour. He spoke loudly (which is important because there are so many sounds around us that he must compete with), confidently, and clearly. He offered many touching stories behind the names listed on the various war memorials. He added quotes from Churchill and other historical figures throughout the tour. When we stood in front of one of the sculptures commemorating the family during the Battle for Britton, he shared a story of his own grandmother who as a child during the war, had to sleep at the topmost place in the family bunker--to this day she still sleeps with her hand over her head (to protect her head)--post traumatic stress disorder. If you are a student of history, I cannot recommend this tour enough. It puts context and meaning in the places and monuments around you.

War room - Learning the history. The walking part should be no more than 45 minutes. Walking was too long which left us tired and unable to really enjoy the museum.
