Highlight of time in Santorini - The views were amazing, saw all the sights from the boat, the crew was so much fun. This was the highlight of our time in Santorini. Good food, music and great to see Santorini by boat and definitely the sunset. We highly recommend this trip.

Best activity on the island! - The crew were the friendliest and assured we had the best sunset cruise with great conversation and history about the area, food (best tzatziki sauce, wine and grilled shrimp!) music and Greek, salsa and Abba dancing-highly recommend!

A pleasure to cruise with such a lovely crew - Arranged through my travel agent, this afternoon/sunset cruise enabled a very different view of the island from the water, not just the iconic whitewashed buildings. We were warmly greeted by the genuinely friendly 4 crew members who willingly answered questions about the island's geography, history and culture. When viewed from the water Santorini's volcanic coast has many different colours and layers. Music and included drinks made for a relaxing time sailing to different bays with several swim stops. The BBQ lunch/dinner was freshly cooked on board and tasty, with a magic desert of youghurt, honey and raisins. The Skipper's friendliness stood out and while there are many cruise options I would highly recommend this company if you want a high quality of personalised service.

Must do on Santorini - Was a super enjoyable experience - the crew were really focused on looking after us. The sunset was breathtaking. The boat was really well equipped and comfortable. Bring a jumper it gets cold as soon as sun sets.

Started out amazing, ended very strangely - To start, overall, we had a great time. You'll want to pinch yourself while you float in the beautiful aqua waters of the Aegean Sea. What we did not like, was the complete departure from the description below that this experience ended up being. This is how the trip is advertised on their website: "Departing from the picturesque beach of Vlychada, the Catamaran sails along the Red beach, the White Beach, the Black Mountain beach and the Light House, south of the Caldera. We continue along the Caldera coastline to the Volcanic islands and the famous Hot Springs, for snorkeling and swimming. An overture of the volcano, which has shaped the entire island of Santorini! While sailing along the beautiful coastline, you will be left breathless as you admire the unique Caldera. We make our last stop to Thirassia Island for dinner complemented with wine and dessert. Before reaching the port of Ammoudi, we admire the spectacular colors of the world’s famous Santorinian sunset…The perfect ending to a magnificent cruise!" We did this entire trip backwards from what is above. We were picked up at Ammoudi and dropped back off at Vlychada. We did not see the sunset over Oia but rather just over the water, we actually were driving away from the sunset. Once back at Vlychada, we had an hour and 15 minute drive back to our hotel. Additionally, on the ride back, the driver stopped the van and said "sorry, I have to pick up my brother" and his brother got in the van's front seat! then was dropped off before the remaining passengers were dropped off at their hotel! There also seemed to be some sort of sail malfunction. The crew spent a good 30 minutes trying to fix this as we spun around in the water. Not something they could necessarily control, but it might have made sense to anchor or feed us dinner while they worked on this. As I mentioned, it was a great trip, but I don't understand how they can completely change the trip from what was promised and think everyone won't notice or will be fine with it. Certainly not worth the money.

Some good. Some not - The luxury cruise was recommended. We liked the crew. They were somewhat engaging but for the most part leave the group to do their own thing. All of the stops advertised were good. Only complaint was giving 45 minutes docked outside the red beach but we weren’t allowed to swim to the beach. (Probably an island rule but still sucked). Food was average but the sunset on the water was really nice. Lastly it isn’t mentioned that we finish at a different port and there was an hour plus drive back after a long day. Overall if you can’t go private it’s pretty good still

A very disappointing experience - certainly not a luxury cruise. - I was disappointed in this cruise - most specifically the staff and the food and drinks offering. The cruise visited all the places advertised but when we looked at it online it appeared to offer towels, snorkelling gear, jackets as part of the luxury cruise experience. None of this was offered apart from towels for the couple of people who swam. The drinks were absolutely basic. White wine from a cask decanted into a plastic carafe and it was very average. One type of beer, was available. Soft drink was decanted into from a bottle into a plastic glass……. There was very little commentary from the staff; Rallia the hostess was rude when she thought she was being funny. No snacks were offered which I thought would be a good idea to soak up the alcohol consumed and also in consideration of the price of the excursion. The food was average and I suspect reheated from being cooked earlier in the day. The group we travelled with were a great bunch and lifted the spirits and enjoyment of the tour. This tour was 170 Euros per person and marketed as a luxury sunset cruise but it fell well short of my expectations.

AVOID VOLCANO YACHTING CHEATERS! - Volcano yachting does not deliver what you pay for. We booked a sunset cruise in September and they skipped our final swim stop and did not return us to Oia to see the sunset as promised. The captain and crew are dishonest and when every one asked why the trip was suddenly being aborted and why we were being dropped off at the farthest end of the island without any sunset viewed, they just kept repeating "we are done, we are done". They are dishonest cheaters and thieves! Pick ANY other vendor. Also food was mediocre.

Volcano Yachting Worst Experience Ever !!! - Worst Experience Ever !!!! I was gonna say this was one of the best experience until things took a sharp turn, when the driver wouldn’t drop us off where we live at Amoudi Bay (which they guaranteed !) We ended up walking down a steep hill when it was dark, and my husband ended up, twisted his ankle badly . Totally ruin the rest of our trip . Never join Volcano Yachting !
