Highlights
  • Oia’s Main Street - Our typical first destination is the charming village of Oia, known for its unparalleled beauty and serenity. Nestled on the Caldera’s slope, it epitomizes the essence of Santorini: stunning skies merging with endless blue seas, traditional Cycladic houses along scenic pathways, and a fully immersive atmosphere – a richly rewarding experience for visitors.
  • Mama Thira Tavern - Another highlight of this tour is Firostefani, the ‘crown of Fira.’ Named for its elevated position, this area offers breathtaking views of the island. It is also home to the Blue Domed Church, a significant icon of Santorini.
  • Skaros Rock - Approximately 300 meters above sea level, Imerovigli is often called the “balcony of the Aegean,” and it lives up to this name by providing a spectacular view of the Aegean sunset. Other attractions include numerous churches in typical Cycladic architecture, particularly the church of Ai-Stratis and the Monastery of St. Nikolaos, as well as Skaros Rock, which features remnants of a medieval fortress.
  • Ιερά Μόνη Προφήτου Ηλία Θήρας - Situated at the peak of the island’s highest mountain (600 meters above sea level) and dating back to 1711, this site is of great historical interest and offers stunning, indescribable views.
  • Pyrgos Restaurant - Pyrgos Village showcases all the magic of Santorini with panoramic views of both sides of the island while retaining elements of Venetian rule. The traditional Cycladic houses and pathways encircle the old Venetian castle, offering a blend of both worlds and making Pyrgos Village a must-visit.
  • Megalochori - Traditional Village - The authentic old settlement of Megalochori, or the ‘big village,’ welcomes visitors with its warm and inviting atmosphere. Dating back to the 17th century, it is one of the island’s most picturesque villages, featuring historical mansions with inner courtyards, traditional architecture, and pirate hideaways.
  • Castelli of Emporio - A visit to Emporio is essential. Once the hub of commercial activity, it is the largest settlement in Santorini with a distinct medieval character and well-preserved traditional houses. The village center boasts Emporio Kastelli, the best-preserved castle on the island. Enjoy a stroll through the charming narrow streets and be sure to visit the churches.
  • Perissa Black Sand Beach - Black Beach, or Perissa, marks the end of the long black sand beach of Perivolos and is the busiest and most famous beach in Santorini. After enjoying the clear waters and striking black sand, we will sample local specialties at the many seaside restaurants.
  • Red Beach - True to its name, the distinctive Red Beach features an impressive formation of red volcanic rock that dramatically contrasts with the magnificent blue sea – a truly unique sight.
  • Akrotiri Archaeological Site - This is one of the most significant prehistoric settlements in the Aegean. Akrotiri had evolved into a major city before being buried in ash by volcanic eruptions. The ash has preserved structures and their contents, allowing visitors to marvel at this ancient wonder.
  • Venetsanos Winery - The island is also renowned for its wine-making tradition. This private tour includes a stop at Venetsanos Winery, offering visitors the chance to sample the splendid local varieties for which Santorini is famous.
  • Wine Museum Koutsogiannopoulos - This unique museum is a 300-meter labyrinthine cave, 8 meters underground, showcasing the history of local wine and the life of vine-growers since 1660! A wealth of artifacts, images, and representations will take visitors on an incredible journey through the history of winemaking in Santorini.

Beat the crowds with this private tour! - This is a must do tour. Both our tour guide and our driver were the best. They allowed us to customize our tour to do whatever we wanted to do. We got to see all the sites and also take a dip at the beautiful black sand beach. Had the best time and would highly recommend it! Much better than being on a big tour.

Great private tour in Santorini - Our guide Stefano lives on the island and knew its history and how to get around well. He’s a colorful character with lots of colorful stories. The little beach restaurant he took us to was beautiful, very reasonable, and possibly our best meal in Europe

Perfect tour for our needs - I went with my partner, my niece and her 16 y.o. daughter, so no planned trip would meet all our needs. When I contacted Santorini Tours, I was assured that they could offer the stops we wanted to see and they were did it perfectly. We had 2 appointed times and a lunch reservation and Evgenia (Jenny), our guide, made sure we met our scheduled stops on time or she contacted them to let them know we'd be late. Evgenia was a bonus. I thought our driver would explain the things we were seeing as we drove past them, but we had a driver as well as a guide. That meant she walked with us through the village of Megalochori and could point things out and highlight features. We did not know of the existence of a cave/house used by early islanders, but we got to see it anyway because of Evgenia. She is a native Santorinian and it is clear she loves her home and her work, all to our benefit. A week or so before our tour, I panicked because I had scheduled the tour for the wrong date! I contacted the owner Stelios who quickly and easily made the changes necessary. The tour was very reasonably priced for the service. It was a pleasure to work with this company and I would recommend it to anyone.

She gave us lots of historical and cultural information and was more than happy to answer questions. She also offered recommendations of other things to do and places to eat during the tour. An exquisite experience - We went with the 5 hour tour option, with our tour guide Jenny. We covered all the places of our choice around the island. It was a very pleasant experience, thanks to the great coordination and thoughtfulness. Jenny took great care of us and even some very nice pictures! Definitely recommend to everyone wanting to get a more in depth look of Santorini.

Great tour, friendly but professional - Our driver is Stelios & our guide is Stéfano. Both are excellent. Stéfano knows the island well. He understands the history of Greece, religion, evolution & overall geology. We visits Oia, Fira, Firostefani, Imerovigli, Megalochori & Vlichada beach with pumice stone wall. Each place, Stefano explains the history & take us the highlight area. They give us our little at each place for pictures but keep us moving accordingly. It’s a private tour. Everything is perfect. Highly recommended!!

Search no more for the right tour! This is the one! - Elvis and Stelios were so fun! Tons of knowledge and history and obvious love for this country. Secret spots and famous all mixed for an excellent experience. We want to come back and stay on the island. So much to see! Thank you gentleman for your personal touch! The lunch spot at the end was the icing on the cake!

A wonderful time in Santorini! - Lilly was wonderful! This was our first time on Santorini and she was very informative. She took the time to carefully answer our questions. She was also very considerate as one in our group had a walking problem so she kept at an even pace never rushing us. I would highly recommend her!
