- Selime Monastery - The largest monastery in Cappadocia, Selime Monastery is a highlight of the Green Tour. Located at the end of Ihlara Valley, it features fairy chimneys and the historic Selime Cathedral, which dates back to the 8th and 11th centuries. The cathedral includes depictions of Jesus’ ascension and Mary. A high corridor, part of an ancient caravan route, leads to the cathedral, where camels were once brought for safety.

Awesome experience - Awesome Green Tour. The tour guide Ahmet was excellent with very good history and science knowledge. His talks was well delivered with lot of good information.
