20 June 2023 - Our guide, Sabiha, was very knowledgeable & shared a lot of information and history with us. The tour covered a lot of different sites & areas. It was a great way to get a good overview of the northern Cappadocia area in a day.

Scammers/did not provide full tour - WARNING: this company scam tourists! TLDR: tour was only 4 hours, lunch NOT included, rushed through sites, lied to us. We purchased this full day tour (5-9 hours as advertised) and asked to start the tour in the afternoon after our arrival from Istanbul. Since it was July, we had daylight at least until 8:30pm so knew we can complete the tour before dark. We provided the itinerary of sites we wanted to see (we cut out at least 1.5 hrs from their suggested itinerary due to the latter start time) and had it confirmed with the company. Once we got to Goreme, the tour started at 2:30pm and we ended at 6:30pm. This was only a 4 hour tour. Additionally, our updated itinerary was not communicated to the guide. Lunch was NOT included (even though it is stated that lunch is included). The guide rushed us through the sites, the most disappointing was paying to enter Pasabag fairy chimneys and only being allowed less than 30 minutes there. The guide told us we needed to get the driver home (it was 6pm when we left). She also said the site closed at 6:30pm but when we passed by on our way to our hotel, people were still there and just entering (we were lied to). On top of that, we were offered to visit a “local market” on our way back. I thought the driver needed to go home? Why do we now have time to go to a market? (This is on top of continually being asked to visit carpet and pottery markets during the tour) Once we completed the tour, I contacted the company and expressed my disappointment in the 4 hour tour. And all they said was we never said you will have a 5-9 hour tour! (We had emailed and WhatsApp messages them many times to confirm this was a full day tour). They’re a bunch of liars and scammers. Please save yourself the trouble and find a better company for your tour.
