Savor, Sip, and Smile - Nezra, the tour guide and owner, is a treat! She knows her city well and offers a first rate tour. Our tour focused on spices and Nezra knew a lot about them. We were interested in the homeopathic qualities of each local spice and she did a wonderful job of explaining them. We tasted local food at several stops including a full lunch, a hearty soup, fruit smoothies, and chocolate. It was a wonderful tour and we recommend it!

A Tour Full of Food and History - Nezra is the owner and took us on our tour. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her, the city and local food. There are multiple stops and you get plenty to eat so bring your appetite. We highly recommend Nezra's tour and would definitely go on one again as she has many to offer. She also took pictures while on our tour and then sent them to us via email. She always takes two pictures for good luck. :)

Addie is delightful! - Addie is a lovely young lady with a genuine love for her hometown. The tour was perfect. We got to really experience a bit of the Grenada culture through the food. Our first stop was in the market for a typical Grenadian breakfast, then we got a little history at Ft. George. We also got to visit a chocolate museum, drink fresh fruits smoothies, and fresh coconut water. Our last stop was for a fantastic roti. Not like anything you have ever had. She really did a wonderful job. I highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful Food and Guided Tour - We took this tour with Selanie, which started with a Grenadian breakfast in the Spice Market in St George, followed by a stop in the Market, some coconut water, some soursop smoothies, a tour of the fort, then delicious roti at a local restaurant. The food was all incredible, and something we may not have tried if we hadn't taken the tour.

Great food and history - Six of us took the walking tour with our terrific guide, Selanie, where we had a full traditional Grenadian breakfast at the outdoor market. She was very informative about not only what we were eating but also the traditions of the island and other native dishes such as "oil down". Next up was a visit to the spice market to learn about the various spices grown on Grenada. Miss Josephine, age 96, offered us coconut water at her stand. We sampled smoothies such as soursop and mango/passionfruit, and then a delightful climb up through the town to the historic fort. Selanie explained its significance in the context of both the French and British occupation of Grenada as well as the more recent assassination of leader Maurice Bishop. We returned to town for delicious roti at Nutmeg. We all agreed it was a wonderful way to learn and enjoy the food and history of Grenada. Highly recommended, and a shout out to Selanie for her warm and kind welcome!

Informative and tasty! - This was a nice way to learn about the Grenada food scene in a short amount of time. Addie was our guide - she was kind and knowledgeable, and with such a small group (4) we had the time to ask any questions we had. The walk wasn't too difficult, just a little bit of climbing by the fort. We learned not only about food but also quite a bit about local culture and history. Grenada spice has a vividness of flavor that I will surely miss! Keep breakfast light and save your appetite.
