Highlights
  • Concord Falls - This remarkable half-day tour, starts with pick-up at your hotel in an air-conditioned van. Pass through St. George’s, the prettiest capital in the Caribbean. Continuing along the island’s western coast, turn onto a tiny mountain road that leads to the perfectly picturesque Concord Waterfalls – a set of three waterfalls, in the lush mountain lands with lots of spice trees and small houses with flower gardens. You can swim in the waterfall if you wish, the water is cool and leaves you wonderfully refreshed.
  • Gouyave - Carry on to the fishing town of Gouyave and spice processing station, where you can see why the island is called the “Isle of Spice” and how the spices are processed after picking, in much the same way that has been done for a hundred years. Visit the chocolate factory, where you will walk through the cocoa fields and learn how chocolate is made, in addition to a tasting.
  • Grand Etang Lake - A tour of Grenada would not be complete without visiting the island’s interior, so head inland, traversing centuries old plantations to see the Grand Etang Lake and rainforest, in Grenada’s largest national park before heading down the mountain, and back to your hotel.

Amazing tour - This tour was amazing. Rolley our driver and tour guide was so nice and knowledgeable. The roads in Grenada are very narrow but he did a great job maneuvering them. We would definitely recommend this tour and driver to others.

Good tour overall bit didn't need the political talk from the driver - We were looking forward to this trip as an introduction to Grenada since we had never been there before. Also we were staying in an all inclusive so wanted something that would allow us a flavor of the island. This seemed like it would be perfect for what we were looking for. The pickup was at 8:30 from our resort which is convenient. We were in an air conditioned mini bus and were thankful we didn't have to drive ourselves since the roads are tricky and can be very steep and narrow. Even though the tour is listed as half day, we didn't get back to our resort until after 2. We thought we'd be back by lunch. All the locals you meet are friendly and even though they want you to buy stuff, no one is pushy. The amount of fruit and spices this island grows is amazing. The chocolate tour was cool. I would recommend the spicy jelly that they sell. I wish I had bought more! The only downside was our driver, Michael who was way too forthcoming with his political views. We did not appreciate him denigrating Dr. Fauci. The misinformation that he spread about him upset me but I didn't go on vacation to talk politics with the tour guide. What a disappointment to the experience overall.
