Amazing Guyere tour with Gabor - The Gruyères area is amazing! We visited the Guyere cheese factory, museum and had a taste of the cheese. The highlight was having truffled fondue for lunch. Our tour guide Gabor was phenomenal and recommended a great restaurant with an amazing view of the valley. The chocolate tour was entertaining and the chocolate tasting was so filling that we decided to have a quick cup of coffee at the end. I would highly recommend Gabor as tour guide. He goes above and beyond to make your experience even better!

Excellent day trip from Geneva to Gruyere, definitely recommended - My son and I had a fantastic day out from Geneva visiting Gruyere. Our guide, Gabor, was excellent facilitating a relaxing, fun and informative excursion. I can wholeheartedly recommend this trip to you.

Great day tour of Gruyere - This was a fun day trip to Gruyere. Although i felt we wish we had more time to spend in the picturesque town. We bought all tickets in advance for the cheese factory tour, callier chocolate tour and visit inside castle. In hindsight, if i would change anything is maybe not purchase the inside castle tour tickets to leave the option open for time to stroll and shop in the town vs go inside to tour castle. While I have no regrets, that’s what i would suggest for anyone as time is limited to do it all. Gabor was our tour guide/driver for the day. He has a nice van that fits up to six persons, so potentially can be with other people but if no other parties join, then ends up being kind of a private group in which case how it turned out for just me, my husband and daughter, so was very nice. Gabor was very helpful and knowledgeable about the town. The first stop was at the cheese factory, then not too far in the cobble stone town by the castle. Gabor helped us take some family pictures in the area. We had delicious lunch at St Georges at his recommendation. The key is to go sooner than later as it gets very busy and then takes a while, I think our lunch took little longer than expected so kind of ate into our time. But we were able to make the castle tour and continue to Callier chocolate tour. It was very fun. We were lucky the weather was nice for the first half of the day, that we were able to tour the castle area before it started to rain. We came back with some cheese and chocolate of course! I definitely would recommend this visit.

Great Guide - The spectacular Guide, explained everything we saw, we liked going everywhere and gave us time where we wanted. His recommendations were the best in terms of restaurants and was very friendly

Such a Beautiful Day ! - Gabor started our day by picking us up at the hotel. He listened to exactly what we wanted to do within the time we had. He made the car comfortable and the ride did go quickly. He spoke to us about the different sights we were passing by as we were driving there. Gabor took us to Gruyère and guided us to the castle and cheese factory. We were so happy he decided to stay and have lunch with us. Lastly we went to the chocolate factory , Cailler. We had four other excursions on our Swiss travels and this by far surpassed them all. Gabor is to thank ! We hope to see him again soon.

Amazing! - Gabor was great! If you are debating a day trip to Gruyere, this is worth every penny! Van picks you up at your hotel, an easy 90 mins van ride that is scenic to Gruyere from Geneva. Gabor gave greay info about neighboring towns during our travel. The cheese factory was great, easy and not super long (3 cheese samples)! A beautiful time in the square to eat lunch before the Gruyere Castle. Scenic and informative (great photos)! The chocolate tour was following and has MANY free samples. Plan a 9-5pm day, but so convenient and great!

This was the highlight of our time in Geneva. - I highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide, Gabor, was great! We loved our time visiting the castle and the quaint village around it. Gabor made lunch reservations for us at a restaurant so that we could experience their award-winning cheese fondue. The chocolate tour was also really interesting, and they were VERY generous with samples. The only negative was that the tour started about 30 minutes late. This meant we had less time in the little town because our tickets to the chocolate factory were for a specific time.

Fun Day and Great Guide - Our guide, Gabor, was a great person to spend a day with. All the sites wete worth visiting, but the castle was excellent. Also, take Gabor's recomendation for lunch...it was amazing!

Gabor was the BEST - Our tour guide was Gabor. He did amazing. He was very knowledgeable and easy going. He is the most friendly tour guide we ever had. The stops worked out great.
