Beautiful sunrise tour!! - This tour was amazing! I was the only one who had booked that day so I ended up getting a private tour from Marlon. He gave me an amazing tour with many facts about the animals and the Mayans. He made sure to show me the best views and little details that I would have never seen on my own. We saw lots and lots of birds, spider monkeys, and coatis! Since I was the only person, we had some extra time and Marlon took me down a different jungle path to see more wildlife. We ended up seeing a crocodile! The views were beautiful from start to finish and Marlon took a great picture of me! I 100% recommend this tour.

Jaguars and temples and Tucans! An experience not the be missed - Marlon was the best guide. Picked us up right on time in his amazing electric car and was super happy to answer all our questions (even at 2:30am in the morning) Marlon is so knowledgeable about the park, and about Mayan culture as well as the extensive birds and animals found there. He is also so great at adapting the tour as you go. We had the opportunity to see all of the temples and buildings at Tikal which was great plus saw a variety of birds (my favourite was the tucán!) monkeys and we were even lucky enough to see a jaguar!!! (All thanks to the electric vehicle) It’s a long day, but Marlon is prepared with water and the food is amazing both the breakfast prepared by his wife, and the lunch at the jaguar inn. It’s well worth having everything covered and not having to worry about snacks or water on the trip. I highly recommend this tour, we chose it because it was eco and another review said that the guides pick up rubbish they find in the park along the way (they do!) but I recommend it for the knowledge, care and attention that is put into the attention paid to the tour. I honestly feel like you wouldn’t get as much from Tikal if you didn’t have someone sharing what all of the ruins mean and were used for. While it’s true you can’t see the sun rise exactly (only 20% of the time) the quiet serenity of the jungle as it wakes with the birds and animals felt like. Spiritual experience - also because we ate breakfast on top of the tallest temple (temple IV) we had the place to ourselves and were able to hear the echoes of the howler monkeys across the forest (and high felt like we were in Jurassic Park). Marlon also knows the park so well that he always knows the secret places to take photos for the best angles and views. I’ve travelled a lot and this was one of my top tours. Highly recommend :) thanks Marlon (and team!) for the amazing experience!

Best tour! - Marlon’s tour company is the best. We didn’t know what to expect and quite frankly, I was blown away by the promptness, professionalism, organization, and friendliness of the staff. We had an amazing time in Tikal and this tour was the best part of our journey. Marlon also helped us the next day to get to the airport in Flores and once again, he was prompt, helpful, and incredible to hang out with on the drive to the airport.

Outstanding trip; great service from Marlon - Marlon was a great guide - good communication prior to and at the time of collection. Marlon provided coffee and snacks before the dawn, breakfast at the Temple, and a restaurant lunch. He dropped me at the airport on time for my flight. The tour was great! Tikal was amazing, Marlon had some surprises too (it’s been used as movie locations). We saw several types of toucan, parrots, Montezuma oropendola, collared aracari, ocellated turkeys and spider monkeys. And heard the howler monkeys. Highly recommended tour and highly recommended tour company and guide.

Unforgettable experience - The trip has been a breathtaking experience and I fully recommend it. Marlon did a great job in showing the best places in Tikal and answering all questions. But of course the highlight is having a Guatemalan breakfast on top of a pyramid and enjoying a spectacular view of the sunrise. Visiting Tikal early in the morning is the best thing to do because it feels you have the Natural Park literally for yourself. Also Marlon made the whole trip easy in a way that everything was perfectly organized and he took care of everyone to ensure it becomes an experience to remember.

Great place and guide - Tikal is a beautiful place, and the jungle is enchanting. Henry Paredes was a knowledgeable and friendly guide! I highly recommend this tour. It was much more extensive and inclusive than the tour available thru the hotel

Great Experience with Marlon Diaz! - Marlon Diaz is a true “gem” of a tour guide! I am happy to add my praise to his many accolades. We recently spent three days with him visiting Yaxha and Tikal. Marlon is deeply knowledgeable not only about the history, culture and architecture of Mayan sites, but also a passionate and expert observer of nature. As you walk with him through the jungle (on paths less traveled), he is constantly pointing out and naming birds, animals, trees, plants – and handing over his binoculars so you can observe for yourself. Any question we posed on all these topics, he invariably had the answer – or his curiosity was piqued to research, and we all learned something new. All of this is delivered in excellent English (if needed). Marlon’s attention to detail was evident in smooth handling of the logistics, including transportation, entry tickets, breakfast, lunch, snacks, water, etc. It was truly a pleasure to have him as our guide to these amazing places. Book him if you are lucky!
