Day Tour Taj Mahal - I had this last minute decision to visit Taj Mahal. Sanny was very attentive for my last minute request. The driver Rahul was very professional and helpful. The guide Bobby was very polite and knowledgeable. He had taken lots of pictures in different angles which was appreciated. The trip as excellent and enjoyed it very much.

Fantastic - Amit jha spent the day with me in Agra and at the Taj Mahal and he was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, friendly and spoke great English. He was also well connected in the area and was able to bring me places others don’t know about. Next time I am back in India, wherever I go I will ask Amit to join me.

Unwanted Sales Forced in Tour - Beware - **If you take this tour, tell them ahead of time NO UNWANTED SALES in Street vendors** Paid about $180 USD to walk around Taj Mahal for little over an hour. Immediately upon entering the guide had a photographer waiting and he coaxed me into spending money with him for photos I DIDN'T WANT. The price went up because he printed the photos off despite not wanting them. The tour itself was nice but was not extraordinary, I felt rushed and it seemed like he was more interested in getting me outside the attraction. I relied on the driver that came with the package would just be transportation there and back, but the guide kept taking me to local shops in Agra when I had NO INTEREST in that. He took me to a Marble craftsman that sold grossly overpriced items. I eventually relented and bought a bowl that was $200. Next he took me to a jewelry store where I spent $180 unwillingly. Each of these shops contained very expensive items and they use heavy sales tactics. Afterwards, he wanted to take me to a restaurant when I finally had enough. I demanded to be taken back to my hotel.. As with many things in India, this is yet another business that is also trying to scam tourists by pressuring sales by vendors, this was never discussed in the charter for the tour. And clearly the guide gets a % cut of the sales he sets up. I had to repay shuttle to the Taj, cost of a ticket and some water. But it felt like he overcharged me and the photos were like $70 USD which was a rip-off. It's a rotten system where they take advantage of you, and force you through unwanted sales before they take you back. Be aware of this aspect.
